What is a foundation with heavy coverage that will look natural and won't clog my pores?
Preferrably it would also make my skin look kind of luminescent, but it doesn't have to. I've seen a lot of girls who wear mac foundations but it looks pretty fake and cakey. My biggest worry tho is that it will clog my pores and make me break out.
Any help is appreciated. :)What is a foundation with heavy coverage that will look natural and won't clog my pores?
try MAC full coverage foundation its good i have it ;)
tip to get the perfect shade is matching it to you neck
try it have fun ^_^What is a foundation with heavy coverage that will look natural and won't clog my pores?
I wouldn't recommend any Maybelline/Cover-Girl. Sorry for being difficult, but their cosmetics are of poor quality and won't work with your skin effectively. The liquid foundation I use is very good, and it's from the Face Shop. It cost $35 (AUS) which is affordable and it's also in a relatively large bottle. It provides an even coverage which is enough for me, but if you want something more opaque I would consider a cream-textured foundation. I always apply my foundations with a flat, square makeup sponge which you can purchase a bag of for under $5. I dispose of mine every 3-4 applications for hygiene purposes, and also because they generally start to collect a build-up of makeup, which doesn't help with an even coverage. You cannot evenly apply makeup with your fingers and expect it to turn out like how it would after using a sponge. The results are completely different.
If you're prepared to spend more, I suggest MAC or Napoleon Perdis. As for the girls that wear cakey MAC foundation/concealer, they're probably A) Using the wrong type of foundation or B) applying it without knowing how.
There are three types of foundations - Liquid, Cream and Powder. Each type of foundation has three coverage levels - Sheer, Medium and Heavy. The people you were talking about were probably wearing a Heavy Cream foundation which, I can tell you, is not a good look for everyday wear. I sometimes wear Napoleon Perdis foundation and it doesn't appear cakey. Go to a shop that sells their cosmetics and ask them if they could help you pick out the right colour and type for you. Napoleon and MAC's foundations range from $40 to $70, but you are definitely paying for quality. Get oil-free makeup and wash it off before bed every night. That will prevent breakouts :)
I use Maybeleine Instant Age Rewind Even though I'm only 18 haha but it works wonders! I've been using this for a while now and it never cakes up and it looks really natural. I only use that for the blemishes then I use a mineral powder on top of it; I use Trueblend microminerals. I swear by these products, I love them :)

What is the best concealer and foundation to use when you want a natural look?
I like makeup where it doesn't look like I have any one.. I prefer the natural look.. So which products give you that look. What is the best concealer and foundation to use when you want a natural look?
Urban Decay Surreal Skin Mineral Makeup.
It gives good coverage and it's really soft and natural looking. Easy to apply too. http://www.urbandecay.com/categories/Min鈥?/a>
Or, the liquid foundation version of it. It doesn't cake at all!
http://www.urbandecay.com/categories/Sur鈥?/a>
For concealer, Almay Smart Shade concealer is the best. I have really severe acne and after using this you can't even see it!
http://www.bellasugar.com/1802965What is the best concealer and foundation to use when you want a natural look?
Bare Minerals. The foundation matches up to your complexion and since it is mineral based, it blends easily and gives you a natural glow. They use a smaller brush and you use your foundation as a concealer and it really covers it up perfectly. It is barely noticeable that you have anything on, but gives you a ';put-together'; look that is very natural.
Bare Minerals foundation and Mineral Veil. If you don't like mineral makeup, try mixing your regular foundation with a little moisturizer and applying it with a foundation brush. As for concealer, you only need to apply it where you are red or have blemishes, and the best way to get a natural look is by applying it with a concealer brush.
Lauren Hutton has great foundation and concealer, which is very natural looking, not that caked on look.. I hate that!
There is a great concealer kit, I use it everyday... you are able to find which concealer is best for your skin tone from a chart you are provided with. If you're interested in taking a look, here's the link: http://www.laurenhutton.com/concealerkit鈥?/a>
As for foundation.. Lauren Hutton has a great one. It's called Weightless Foundation, and it's the best foundation I've ever used. It is so light (weight wise) and goes on with a very natural look. Again there are different shades for your skin tone... you can take a look at it here: http://www.laurenhutton.com/foundation-m鈥?/a>
Hope this is helpful for you.
bobbi brown do a concealer pot, it looks really nice and one of my friends raves about it.
i would say, concealer cannot make skin look made up unless you put alot on.
If you want a medium coverage and something that covers spots %26amp; imperfections.
I would say to use BB (blemish balm) cream. its a main source product from asia.
originally from germany for post plastic surgery patients, to cover up scars gently to make the skin look more attractive.
I own a bb cream
and its great, works as a concealer %26amp; light foundation
does not give full coverage though.
but if you want a more perfect coverage i would set it with powder after.
I use the BONSKIN BB cream
its used for everybody, like a medicated cream tinted.
and it blends. makes your skin look dewy with lusture.
you can get it from Ebay very cheaply, cheaper than any foundation (i have found)
Good luck
Maybelline New York's mineral foundations. They're called Mineral Power Natural Perfecting Liquid Foundation and Mineral Power Natural Perfecting Powder Foundation, and not only do they provide quite good cover without having to use too much, they have a really nice, luminous finish, and they're oil, talc and fragrence free which will prevent your pores from becoming clogged, causing breakouts.
I've been searching high an low for concealers and have found one im happy with. In the day i tend not to wear foundation so use concealer but found it difficult to find one that matched my skin.
I used Bobbi Brown creamy concealer, comes in loads of shades isnt too thick and isnt too thin. Comes with a powder to set it and stays on.
Downside is you dont get a huge amount but a little goes a long way.
Dinair Airbrush Makeup...it makes my skin look flawless but it never gets cakey or gross...it looks like i just have naturally amazing skin! It looks super natural...if u want to see pics of what it looks like just google Dinair and you'll find their site.
oil based concealer-Clinique compact concealer

I dont use anything but bareminerals! It's the greatest and long lasting! you dont have to worry about it clogging your pores because it's all natural. They have really good eye shadows too!(Lots of fun colors)
For concealer I highly recomend Covergirls Fresh Complexion
IT'S AWESOME

Girls - how do some of you achieve that natural look even with foundation on?
For me, it always either looks like I have too little or not enough foundation on. How do I achieve a nice balance - covering up my blemishes but not looking caked on?Girls - how do some of you achieve that natural look even with foundation on?
I just use moisturizer, and then wait 15 minutes until it is absorbed in my skin (or else the makeup sticks to it and gets patchy) then use a powder foundation. It's not too thick or hard to spread, it comes with a sponge in it, and i just spread it out. If i don't use moistuizer, my skin is dry and the powder actually looks powdery and gross, but it ends up looking smooth if i do it that way. Its not amazing for really brutal pimples, but for my overall skin it works. I just use cover-up and then foundation on the actaul blemishes.
Hope this helps!
Good Luck xoxo!Girls - how do some of you achieve that natural look even with foundation on?
i recommend cover girl AquaSmooth. i love this product. it's really easy to put on and the coverage is buildable without looking like its caked on. it looks really natural so it won't look like you have tons of make up on. i use it with one of the cover girl pressed powders and it looks great.
put some concealer on your blemishes or just a a light coverage mineral foundation, maybelline has a good one. dip your brush LIGHTLY in it and blow on it to get more product off. just dont use a lot.
make sure its your skin tone, though. thats very important.
then, use a nude gloss or a light pink one and one coat of mascara. instead of mascara, you can just line your waterline with black or brown mascara.
Dont use foundation as a concealer. Use some concealer on your blemishes and dab, dont rub. Then use a really light mineral foundation instead of a cakey thick one. All you need is enough to hide discoloration.
Sometimes, for me anyways, when I know I have makeup on, I feel like its too thick, even when its not. Just make sure its not in your head. Good luck!
i use a primer [Lorac's Aquaprime]
then i use Lancome's Corrector concealer
then Chanel's Teint Naturel foundation
i don't usually use powder, if i do, just in my t-zone area, this way my skin looks silky and the primer helps it all stay in place
the key to it all is to use good healthy products so you dont end up looking cakey
All you have to do is moisturize first, then put on a thin layer of foundation. then put on a lipstick thats not so dark colored. thats what i do, but its different for different people. the most important is to make sure your foundation matches your skin color though!
hope it helps!
You should try a spray on foundation. It covers everything up but is still really light.
I use one by ERA that is amazing!
It is a bit tough to get used to applying at first, but after a few tries you will love it!!!
I use mineral powder foundation instead of normal liquid foundation. It gives good coverage without being ';cakey';. I know what you mean though...before I starting using mineral powder, foundation always looked extremely thick on me.
I use Revlon Mineral Powder.
use water based foundations with no oil
i recommend maybelline's pure makeup .. i've used it for like a year now.. it's amazing and it looks so natural. doesn't cause pimples either cause it's non-comedogenic
good luck :)

Best natural but flawless looking foundation?
I need a new foundation because I've just run out, I usually use MAC Studio Sculpt but it's really heavy, shiny and looks like you're wearing way too much even if I only use little amounts. I want a foundation which makes me look flawless but relatively natural, more of a matte look. I don't really have oily skin or dry skin and my skin's quite good, one spot every month or so maybe but thats it. Any recommendations?Best natural but flawless looking foundation?
bare minerals is amazingBest natural but flawless looking foundation?
surprising, i love MAC maybe try their studio fix?
i have pretty good skin too and i hate it when my makeup makes me look shiny because i don't have oily skin!
In experience, the best makeup/foundation i've ever used was Make Up For Ever HD Invisible Cover Foundation (DiorSkin Nude comes in second for me). it's light, long wearing, flawless and absolutely perfect. i def. you can get from sephora for $40 pricey but its completely worth it.
just make sure you have a light loose powder to finish up with and you'll look flawless.
hope i helped!
NARS,by far.
they have such high quality makeup, its unreal. they are very expensive. foundation runs at $40-50. but it worth it for all their products. they look natural and they blend right into your skin. there are 16-20 different colors to choose from and the best part is that you dont have to use brushes because their foundations are made to be applied with your hands since your skin warms it before you put it on your face, making it even easier to blend.
stay away from MAC. their foundations clog pores, and cause breakouts even if your skin isnt sensitive. makeup artists have told me that MAC cosmetics are good for on camera but for everyday wear, they are too heavy. hope that helps(:

I recommend Dinair Airbrush Makeup kit. Airbrushing make up is always a good choice when you want a flawless coverage. Since you mix your own foundation color, it always matches your skin.
Check out the following link. I think this is the best for make your skin look flawless.

M.A.C minerlized skin finish liquid. it works really good :) i recommened useing the mac 187 to striple it on and then blens with a foundation brush. hope this helped

How to make my foundation look less cakey and more natural?
Every time I sponge on my foundation it just looks caked on. How do people get it to look more natural? Would switching brands help? How to make my foundation look less cakey and more natural?
use a tapered foundation brush instead of a sponge, apply a little at a time and brush on in a downwards motion. Its a much natural effect and the tapered edges allow you to be precise! it worked for me xHow to make my foundation look less cakey and more natural?
I would try Loreal Bare Naturale it is a powder foundation. You can get it at Wal-mart or drugstores. It goes on smooth and covers well. I has a built in SPF. It is pretty cheap too about $14.
Maybe switching brands will help. but don't use a sponge just use your fingers I do and it doesn't look cakey or unnatural at all. Also I use true match foundation it is a little on the expensive side but works great and looks very natural.
I use Artistry brand and it looks very natural...NEVER looks or feels cakey. I don't use sponges either...seems like they waste so much foundation. I just use my fingers.
I don't use a liquid foundation. I just dab on concealer and then put a loose powder over it. It never looks cakey or has that horrible line where it stops. I'd also suggest maybe checking the foundation color. Make it match your skin tone as much as possible...
It could be the foundation that you are using I use maybelline's pure makeup line, it's water based so it doesn't go on oily then I follow it up with the foundation powder to get a shine free natural look. I have been using for about two weeks now and so far I only have to dab on a little powder on my t-zone area to control the shine throughout the day.
If your happy with reg founations then i would make sure you put lotion on first, but if you're willing to switch then i would go with bare minerals it is so sheer and light like your wearing nothing and it doesn't feel gross and oily on your skin it feels healthy.
well i used to use that but i changed to a light concler and powder foundation. it looks more natural and never caked on. you a\should try it...it works
I like tinted moisturizers. You need to use a good brand. Try going to Clinique, Estee Lauder, or Lancome counter where they will let you try it on...
The whole ';sponge on'; concept has never ever worked for me...I personally think its just a scam...I mean, models don't have their foundation sponged on. They use this expensive spray to cover their entire face to give that perfect complexion. I have started using Bare Minerals, and they work wonders. My face looks so natural, I have had at least 5 comments the past week about how natural my face looks. :) Look ';Bare Essentuals'; up on Yahoo and see what you can find and how cheap it sells for on ebay(.com).
Good luck ~ Elle
try using a tinted moituriser my mummy is a makeup artist for cat walks and stuff, she uses tinted moisturiser. almost every make up company sells it!
if your lighter use lighter makeup and if your darker use darker makeup and you wont look caked on. and get brush on. or maby liquid. i use liquid and it looks antural not caked on
well im always getting complaments bout my make up i use a brush or my fingers and iff your still getting a caked on look then cut down in the stuiff you put on!!! what product do you use??
Mary Kay has a web page that gives you tips and suggestions on how to apply make-up.
Switching brands may help -- the trick is to check the color of your foundation, and not use a lot.
With foundation it's better to go slightly lighter than darker. Foundation should match the underside of your arm near your wrist. When shopping dab a dot on the underside of your arm and rub it in -- if it's indistinguishable or nearly indistinguishable that's the shade for you!
Once you are certain you have the correct shade -- apply a small amount to your sponge -- and put dots on your forehead, nose, cheeks, and chin. Just one small dot per area is all you need -- when you're putting it on you should think -- there's no way this is enough. Now blend the foundation in well -- use as many upward swipes as possible -- rubbing in circules promotes lines and wrinkles when you age. Take your time blending is very important.
Finally finish off your foundation with a loose powder. Loose powder gives a more natural look than pressed. Use a brush to apply powder (ensure it's your shade) in the same upward/outward (from nose) fashion.
Good Luck!
Max Factor in a tube, use a soft makeup sponge, make sure your face is clean %26amp; lightly moisturized! You must have the right color as well for your skin tone.

use bare minerals...Don't use liquid or matte foundations that dry and settle into the natural crevices of your skin...Less is more...
I find that using less helps; use just a dab and blend that all over your face.
My friend wife and I use Bare minerals. I didnt even know she wore any make up, thats how natural it looked. She has acne that I never knew was there. I have been using it for a year now, and barely found out three weeks ago that she has been using it too. I thought she only wore mascara because thats all I see on her face. Bare minerals has a concealer powder that works wonders. She also says that her acne has gone down since shes started using it also.
get a foundation brush!! I got one from Lancome at my local Macy's and it makes my face look natural without looking oily or anything. Try MAC or Lancome, go to ur loacal mall and they should have a makeup department ask for a foundation brush they are like 30 bucks but they last forever and make ur skin look greaT
use a lightweight foundation and rub it in really well then set it with powder foundation
Where do you get those things??
Cake it on gorgeous babe.
If you don't want your face to look like it's fake, then what you want to do is first get the same color of your skin, and then you gotta make a light layer of the liquid, and then make a soft layer of the powder, but make sure that it is slightly damp
moisturize with a face moisturizer first then apply it should work.
switch brands maybe its cheap, get a brush also, and put on less.
before you put on your foundation, put some lotion on and let it dry. see if that works. oh, put just a light layer on. i use my hand to put my foundation on and mine never looks caked on.
For some people puting on a mosturizer helps, but it may be your foundation. TRUE MATCH is a good one, it goes on fairly light and leaves a smooth complexion!
Maybe you should try a medium coverage foundation instead of full. That maybe enought to help you, you can go to www.marykay.com/kfrench2006 and search for your local Mary Kay girl and she'd love to help you find a perfect match for your skin color!!! and you'd get a free facial!!
What I do is to add a couple of drops of foundation in my moisturizer cream. Mix it and use it as I normally do, applying it on my face and neck. This gives me a smooth application and it does not look cakey.
use a tapered foundation brush instead of a sponge, apply a little at a time and brush on in a downwards motion.

What ways can i make my foundation look more natural and not blotchy. Everytime i apply it NICELY its always..
weird and stuff. What ways should i apply foundation? Whats better a pad, brush or hands ?What ways can i make my foundation look more natural and not blotchy. Everytime i apply it NICELY its always..
for liquid foundation use a makeup sponge. for areas u need more coverage on dab it into ur skin and for areas where u need less coverage just blend in. dont use your hands, it is bad for your skin. make sure you blend into your neck line too. i dont like powder foundation because i can never get it right so try a good brand of liquid foundation. i use the covergirl clean liquid foundation. its good for your skin and works really well for me. make sure you are using the right color too. and also, after you apply foundation use a light pressed powder with a powder brush. it gives you a more finished look and kind of helps';seal'; ur makeup in.What ways can i make my foundation look more natural and not blotchy. Everytime i apply it NICELY its always..
use a brush and use mac fondation with cine secrets its expensive not all that expensive but it looks like a air brush finish i use it and so do celebs. it good stuff.
i would recommend a liquid foundation that matches your skin tone and mix a little bit of tinted moisturizer with it and then put it on.
it dilutes it a bit so you dont cake it on and look really fake, but it gives your skin a nice even glow.
i apply a tinted moisturizer on first and then with a brush i apply on my liquid foundation, i sort of tip it in, and then apply it to my face, and then i just dust on a bit of face powder, that way the foundation gets locked in and doesnt rub off!
the result is really good.
I hope this helps! %26amp; merry christmas =]
always start with a clean face. toned %26amp; moisturized.
after 10- 15 minutes apply a face primer. may i suggest MAC prep %26amp; prime.
then apply your foundation. Liquid Foundation. The coverage tends to be from sheer to medium. This is the most natural looking foundation. Finding the right color is tricky, asking expert help in makeup counters like should help. i would say using a foundation brush is best. sponge tends to absorb the product more so you tend to waste more.
Powder Foundation - The sheerest of all foundation. It feels like you have nothing on your face. If you need more coverage, I recommend mineral makeup. Try everyday minerals.
A makeup brush or sponge is a must, PLEASE do not use your hands. Your hands contains natural oils which tends to mess up your foundation application. using brushes or sponges will keep your application cleaner!
and finally, use a revitalizing spray to set your make-up. mac has quite a few to choose from (mac fix+) or evian.
good luck.
i use a brush and i find that it smooths on nicely and evenly with a face brush as opposed to a pad. when applying foundation blot some of it on your cheeks, chin, and forehead.. then blend evenly.
Try puritycosmetics.co.uk. It is made from natural ingredients and makes your skin look great!
A pad is better for liquid foundation.
What I do is I put my liquid foundation on first with a pad, then afterward but some covergirl powder on, it works great for me, hope it works good for you too!
Merry Christmas.
There are a few reasons why your foundation may be doing this. 1)It could be the wrong shade, 2)too thick of a formula, 3)old product, or 4)one that needs to be shaken before used. I would reccomend shake your foundation before using, especially if it sits for a few days without being used. Try mixing a dab of moisturizer on the back of your hand with a bit of foundation then apply. And, if it is more than 1 1/2 yrs. old toss it!
I prefer to apply foundation to myself and clients with a brush. You will get the most even application, save the most product. A sponge will soak up about 1/3 of your foundation! Also, if you reuse your sponges without cleaning them in between uses you are letting bacteria grow in there, leading to more breakouts!
Go to Walgreens or CVS and invest in a foundation brush. Use antibacterial soap and cool water or alcohol to clean it weekly.band myspace

Foundation or concealer that looks natural?
Something thats easy to find like at wal mart or target.
i have sort of dark circles and want my face to look natural
can you recommend any? about how much?Foundation or concealer that looks natural?
Almay Nearly Naked is great! It is very light and natural looking. It covers any dark spots I might have on my face and I can also put it under my eyes if they look tired. I love the stuff and it looks way better than most liquid foundations and definetly better than powder. It's about $10.Foundation or concealer that looks natural?
You should use Revlon. All though it is the most expensive foundation out of all store bought make-up.......it's the best and it covers up all marks and dark circles under eyes too.
Any foundation of concealer looks natural as long as you know how to wear it.If youre going to wear foundation apply it over your whole face even your eyelids and under your eyebrows.Make sure you put it on in good lighting and rub it in good so you dont have a makeup line or blotches.
After you apply your foundation put on the concealer. If you wear just concealer it will look uneven.
I would recommend loreal paris truematch.Im very satisfied with this product. Though be carefull not to apply to much.To find your right color test it on the inside of your wrist.
I hope I could help you in finding what your looking for.As long as you apply the right amount and use the right shade it will look very natural.I cannot remember the exact price but each is about eight dollars which is not to pricey at all.
You may find you would be more satisfied with another product but as long as you follow these tips you should be okay.
I have Revlon matte finish, and it looks really natural on me. I got it a little lighter than my skin and it still looks natural.
I think for dark circles you have to use concealor, i have horrible dark eye circles too.

What is the best 100% natural, organic, vegan foundation?
I was wondering if there was a product that was safe, non-toxic, natural, organic, and vegan that works effectively. I can't find a safe one that covers blemishes or is approved by Skin Deep (http://www.cosmeticsdatabase.com/). It would also be ideal if it was affordable and not too expensive. Please help me! Thank you. What is the best 100% natural, organic, vegan foundation?
That website rates Coastal Classic Creations as a 0 risk factor. Just search under Foundation. I have never tried this brand, I just found it on that website.

Looking for a full-coverage, cruelty free foundation that looks natural, not funeral home-ish?
Does a foundation exist which can cover rosacea, look really natural, and not be tested on animals? Oil-free formula preferred.
Or is this asking too much? Sometimes I have trouble finding just one of these criteria - much less all three rolled into one.
Help?Looking for a full-coverage, cruelty free foundation that looks natural, not funeral home-ish?
I'm not sure about foundations but clinique makes a great make-up primer that is green tinted and helps take down the redness. What ever you put on top of it looks amazing. I love there stuff because it is all Fragrancee free and allergy tested do really nice for sensitive skin. Looking for a full-coverage, cruelty free foundation that looks natural, not funeral home-ish?
A good friend of mine is vegan, and she has many of the same concerns as you when it comes to not being tested on animals and wanting things to be more natural instead of really synthetic.
She swears by Physicians Formula's Organic Wear. It's 100% natural, and not tested on animals. She loves it, and she is able to cover her perma-red cheeks with it with ease.

Try the maybeline mineral power makeup
Arbonne has products that will help with rosacea and has a full cruelty free makeup line.
Chanel has the best foundations ive ever used
Yes, it does. I am a makeup artist and I am adamant about using products that are cruelty free. I do all skin types and ethnicities and the best foundation I have used is by Faerie Organic Minerals. They do not test on animals, their makeup is amazing. It covers acne, rosacea, really well while being light, airy, natural looking and leaves a dewy glow which makes for a healthy complexion, not dull like store brands. The nice thing about their makeup is it actually helps rosacea and acne due to the Zinc Oxide and Boron Nitride, it gets better with use. This is the only makeup I have found that has so many pros. Here is my list of pros..........
1)they are all natural, cruelty free, No preservatives, no chemicals
2)they help skin conditions like acne and rosacea due to the zinc oxide (anti-inflammatory) and boron nitride(anti-bacterial, skin soother and protector)
3)Their makeup is light, airy, looks like your skin only better, leaves you dewy and flawless, conceals redness and acne very well and stays put all day even in extreme heat.
4)They don't coat their makeup with (dimethicone, silicone and other undesirable ingredients)
5)They don't use microparticles and nanoparticles (some mineral companies use these and they are bad to inhale)
6)They are more affordable than most brands, yet work better
7)They have a free sample kit that comes with 2 foundations, sheer veil (oil absorber), and bronzer
This is just some of my list, I have used many other brands including BARE ESCENTUALS (which I would never recommend due to the fact they use bismuth oxychloride which is not an actual mineral but a metal that has been processed with tin and copper and can cause skin aggravation including rash, itching and acne) and it does not even compare to the pros in faerie organic's makeup.
I really recommend you try the free sample kit so you can see how well it covers your rosacea, I think you will be very impressed. You can see the photos on their site they have a before and after of a girl with a very red face, I think that gives you an idea (having rosacea).

You can get it at ANY drug store.
hopee that helps鈾?br>

KmS Mineral Essentials. This product is fabulous!
What is the most natural looking foundation out there at the moment?
It really depends on your skin, actually. Your skin tone, the texture, the natural moisture (whether you're oily or dry or somewhere in between), and the age of your skin all make a difference. Some people have great skin, and can just use a little powder or tinted moisturizer and look amazing. Others need a whole set of products - the primer, the concealer, the foundation, the powder, etcetera, to even out skin tone and/or cover blemishes. There's no one foundation that's the most natural looking. What is the most natural looking foundation out there at the moment?

Theres really a lot you could do. Its difficult to pick so what I end up doing is starting with the less expensive and trying out a few different ones. The review site is pretty good at http://www.brandsmakeup.com visit and look around at the reviews.
Bare minerals!!! This stuff is the best. It looks so natural as long as you have the right shade. They make a fair one. Its about $25 but lasts for months and so worth it.
Try Loreal True Match foundations......they have alot of shades. I'm pale too, and that's what I use.band myspace

I love telling women about Bare Minerals.....its the best all natural makeup ever. I have used it forever...
Bare Escentuals started the mineral makeup revolution with the introduction of their 100% pure bareMinerals, which millions of women swear by. All foundation, cheek, and eye colors have been crushed to a silky, creamy powder form, but (here's the big secret) they're not actually powders. What they are is 100% pure bareMinerals that are free of preservatives, talc, oil, waxes, fragrance, and other harmful chemicals that can irritate skin and cause breakouts. They feel like a cream and buff on like silk, giving skin a natural luminosity without the look or feel of makeup. Women with sunspots, acne, rosacea, and excessively dry, oily, or sensitive complexions claim bareMinerals improves the overall health and appearance of their skin. To boot, the silky formulas also contain natural sunscreens that protect your skin鈥攕o much so that bareMinerals SPF 15 Foundation actually has the Skin Cancer Foundation seal of recommendation.
Use avon magix face correcter before you put your foundation on it works great!

Has anybody tried Queen Latifah new natural hue foundation? Is it a good foundation?
i tried matching up to my skin, either the shade was too dark or too light. i wouldnt mind trying it but i cannot find the right shade.Has anybody tried Queen Latifah new natural hue foundation? Is it a good foundation?

I tried it. The color matched great, but I broke out in a rash. My skin isn't all that great to begin with, so it may work better for you. My cousin uses it and it looks great on her.

Is there insurance to cover foundation damage caused by natural settling of the soil?
I am looking to purchase insurance to cover my slab foundation from the natural settling of the soil around my home.Is there insurance to cover foundation damage caused by natural settling of the soil?
Has it already settled?? You wont be able to purchase insurance for an existing problem? Ask your current home owner insurer if they cover it and if not, who might. Is there insurance to cover foundation damage caused by natural settling of the soil?
go to your local city or township and ask about mine subsiding problems in the area, they often will point you towards help, it will also be helpful if you know these issues before you talk to your agent about insuring the property
I believe that wouldn't be covered due to just wear and tear of the property. A claim normally has to be sudden and accidental.
Not easy
Maybe someone needs to create an insurance company just for that very reason.
Builders can purchase hydrostatic water pressure insurance to cover the walls of a basement from collapse due to settling, heavy rain damage, during the building of a home. I do not think a homeowner can cover his or her slab foundation from ';natural'; settling.
I would think you're out of luck with a home 4 years old anyway. My dad, who worked at an insurance company for 35 years has never heard of such insurance. I think the soil settling is a cost of home ownership and is not something the insurance company would cover.
Now if you had earthquake insurance coverage and the soil settled or shifted due to the earth movement during an earthquake ';event,'; that might be something you could claim. But I believe just ';natural settling'; is not an insurable thing.
Insurance policies vary from state to state in terms of wording but are more or less general in scope of coverage and exclusions. You should check your own homeowners or dwelling policy to be certain.
More than likely your insurance policy will contain an exclusion for this sort of thing. Specifically, it will say something like: we do not insure for loss caused by settling, shrinking, bulging or expansion, including resultant cracking of foundations, walls floors or ceilings. There is a general rule of thumb you could remember. Insurance is designed to cover things that are sudden and accidental in nature. Insurance is not designed to cover things that are gradual in nature, occurring over time or something you could expect to definitely happen (as opposed to a mere chance of occurrence).
Note: collapse of a structure is an entirely different peril than settling. However, when collapse would be covered and when it would not follows the above rule of thumb.
Depends on what state you live in. Some states set the standard for what can, and has to be, covered.
The most broad homeowners policy out there is Chubb's. It's for higher value homes, I think the minimum coverage amount is $500,000 on the dwelling. It DOES cover mine subsidence, but not sinkhole collapse. I'm not sure about settling.

Did revlon beyond natural foundation make you break out?
its like a cream and it has spf 15 so should i still use it with a moisturizer or by its self?? and i have dry skin when i wash but when i put a moisturizer i have mildly oily skin. and would this make me break out more or less than a MAC foundation? i think its studio fixDid revlon beyond natural foundation make you break out?
Oh i have the same problem! it sucks! Try Benefit and you can use this product.. i used it and it worked fine! http://www.benefitcosmetics.com/gp/produ鈥?/a>
no problems with it i have been using it for 3 years now. It made of vitamin e and it doesn't have all that crap that other products have!Did revlon beyond natural foundation make you break out?
that depends on your skin!! if you burn easily then you should use an spf moisturizer under it. and you moisturizer under makeup is a matter of personal comfort, in my opinion. I would say that breaking out depends on your skin too. I personally like MAC mineralize foundations better than revlon because revlon dries out my skin in random places. your best bet would be to go to the store and try on the MAC nd then buy the revlon and try it too. And a general rule is to invest in good foundation and save on mascara. GOOD LUCK!!!
Well it doesn't say ';doesn't block pores'; so it may make you break out, depends really.
eeeiiiuuu......u think u look perfect on it....just use sumtina that make u so shittttttttt.

How do I even out my natural skin tone without using a foundation?
My adult acne is finally clearing up--- but now my face is red and blotchy where pimples once were... anyone have any suggestions on how to even my tone using any over the counter or prescription cremes, or even any natural remedies?
i am open to trying different things... thanks! How do I even out my natural skin tone without using a foundation?
I am an esthetician and my favorite thing is eminence stonecrop kit for dark spots and rosehip wash, toner and lotion for people with redness issues like rosacea. Its an all natural line and smells good enough to eat:)

In your opinion, what is the most natural looking + long lasting liquid foundation?
I use maybelline liquid mineral, but it doesn't last.
Does anyone have a tried and true that they'd like to share? In your opinion, what is the most natural looking + long lasting liquid foundation?
Try Neutrogena products theyre really nice light and natural. Ive always had a problem with blending with my skin color and with it not lasting but with Neutrogena it really looks natural and nice. And it doesnt feel heavy or unnatural on the skinIn your opinion, what is the most natural looking + long lasting liquid foundation?
I use Revlon Colorstay Makeup w/Spf15. It last pretty good. But, with any make up you can always use a primer, and it will not only make your foundation stay but your blush/bronzer too. I have recently purchased Smashbox Photo Finish, and I love it. It gives you super smooth skin, and my make up lasts all day even in this southern humidity. I bought mine at Ulta.
The first link is for a full size bottle, $36.00. The second is for a travel size, $16 just in case you might want to try it out before you get the big one.

i use concealer and translucent powder and it outlasts any foundation. but FLIRT (a mac knock off and a brand you can buy at kohls) makes a stick that i use if i am in a hurry that stays on long.
I think Maybeline is fine but after you've applied eyeshadow blush and lipstick you have to set the makeup by applying a translucent powder over your whole face. That way the make-up will last longer.
Definitely clinigue long lasting wear liquid
i ABSOLUTELY HATE when I can see the liquid foundation i am wearing and this stuff is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING like you dont even know!

What's the most natural looking foundation?
Everyone foundation I've used looks caked on. Whats the most natural-looking one? What's the most natural looking foundation?
cement or cinder blocksWhat's the most natural looking foundation?
Try a tinted moisturizer or a sheer to medium coverage foundation. I like the natural look also and I've discovered that matte foundations work beautiful for that. I'm a combination to oily skin and (Origins Reflection Perfection) worksperfect for me. I also use (Origins Halo) for a little glow just on my cheeks, nose, and chin.
I use Clinique Moisture sheer tint, which is oil free and concealer where needed.
I like L'Oreal True Match makeup. I used the website to determine what kind of skintone you have (light to dark) and if you have cool, warm or neutral skin. I thought it was helpful, there were tips and pictures to reference. I only went with True Match because I'd heard good things about it, matching wise, anyway. They list all the products your results say would look best on you, so you know what to look for when you go shopping.
As for caking it on, I'd just use it where you feel you need it, and if it matches your skin well, it shouldn't even be too much of a problem.
use almay the kinda that comes out white and blends with your skin tone! its awesome dont use a lot use lightly or try powder :) i think the almay stuff is called tru blend, or try neutrogena :) :) and the cream matte mousse works realy good idk who its by thou!
Try one shade lighter than your skin. If you can, try some at any beauty consultant's spot, so you will have many choices and some 'professional' advise, usually for free.
MARY - KAY
Arbonne International's Mineral Based Powder. In order to purchase the powder, you have to go through a consultant.
A tinted moisturizer will give your skin a more even tone while not looking like you have foundation on. Try Stila Illuminating Foundation or Smashbox Backdrop Cooling Tint. These both are amazing!
any kind of tinted moisterizer .n use powder for ur nose...=]
If you want heavy coverage, I'm afraid it'll always look caked on.
My suggestion is to layer it. Do a light sheer layer, and then do light add-ons in spots that need fixing.
It's better to let a little bit of ';bad'; uneven skin show through, and make it look more natural, than to try and get the perfectly matte, one-colour face.
Try sheer-to-medium coverage.
Cargo liquid foundation (oil free) works pretty good, and can be buildable.
Or an even more sheer one is mineral powder (bare escentuals keeps getting rave reviews, but I find it too sheer myself, and would need a LOT of layering to get more coverage. Try jane iredale).
I personally love bare minerals.. it looks more natural because powder is easy to blend in to your own skin.

Which type of foundation is more natural looking?
i have tried powder(bare minerals), liquid, and now im trying to use the compact kind with the sponge by covergirl.Which type of foundation is more natural looking?
I use clinique %26amp; my mom really likes it she said it looks natural %26amp; blends in pretty well . Try blending it with your skin make sure it's close as your skin color .Which type of foundation is more natural looking?
Clinique looks so natural that when I wear it people don't believe I'm wearing make-up. I have a friend who doesn't wear make-up because of her religious beliefs, and when I wear Clinique she does not believe me that I'm wearing foundation; she thinks I've had some kind of awesome facial that cleared up my skin and that I just don't want to let her in on the secret.
Also, Sonia Kashuk, which you can get a Target, is very very natural looking.
And Almay makes these foundations that are supposed to be all natural, they come in pink and white recyclable tubes, and that is what I am using right now and when I put it on it is so light and airy that I don't look or even feel like I've got make-up on.
Minerals are the most natural all the way, and the least natural is liquid.
Bare Minerals I believe is more natural looking, if you blend it well with your skin. I personally use liquid [Clinque] and it seems very natural.
Good luck!

Bare Eccentials is the way to go, u can even sleep in it! Great stuff.

Suggestions of foundation that looks natural?
I have looked all over for a foundation that will cover up imperfections and still look natural. I have pale skin and freckles. I am working on a tan right now so that will take care of the pale skin. But I do have under eye circles and freckles to cover up. Is there any inexpensive foundation out there that with cover up my freckles without my face looking cakey and fake?Suggestions of foundation that looks natural?
Chanel Foundation. Go to your local department store and go to the Chanel counter. Just say that you're looking for a foundation with full coverage that still looks natural. I have the Vitalumiere foundation and it's for people who want less coverage. If you want fuller coverage I would go for Pro Lumiere or the Matte Lumiere. Chanel's foundation always look natural, witha nice healthy glow. Hope I helped !!Suggestions of foundation that looks natural?
Maybelline dream matte mousse
It gorgeous :D

Try Avon......... if u want to check out my website u can e-mail me
After applying foundation, rub your palms together for a minute, then press them gently onto your cheeks, chin, forehead, and nose. The warmth helps soften the base, making it look like your natural skin as opposed to an obvious layer of makeup.
Don't just dab concealer on dark circles. To really look fresh and well rested, you have to counteract the shadows cast by your eyes. To do so, pat on a yellow-based cover-up one shade lighter than your foundation as close to the lash line as possible, blending right up to the eye socket and on the sides of your nose.
Although brow powder fills in sparse spots and looks natural, the formula isn't long-lasting and tends to smear by lunchtime. The fix? First, sweep on a brow pencil, then stroke on your powder; the pencil's wax base will cause the powder to stick in place.
Benefit some kind-a gorgeous foundation comes in 1 colour and adapts to all skin tones it's 拢22.50 but worth the investment if your only using it to cover up under eye circles and freckles it will last. You can buy it from the website http://www.benefitcosmetics.com/gp/produ鈥?/a>
or the boots website www.boots.com
If your looking for something cheaper L'Oreal true match foundation comes in at 拢8.80 from Boots (currently on offer at 拢6.80) also available from Superdrug.
I wear this one daily and people comment on how lovely my skin looks and how natural it looks.
Cheapest option would be Collection 2000 natural matte foundation costing only 拢2.73 and still gives a great coverage without looking fake.
Hope this helps.
liquid mineral coverup for under your eyes
and wouldn't try to hide your freckles but a mineral foundation can neutralize them a little and help them blend in a little more
i reccomend bareminerals or elf mineral foundation
but most minerals work the same

As a professional makeup artist for over 20 years I highly recommend Bee Luscious Liquid Minerals it lasts 8-9 months roughly the cost is 36 but well worth it because of the lasting effect and they have a 25% off sale now. Many youtube guru's are loving the bee luscious brand as well it is truly THE HOTTEST line I have worked with in a long time!
Revlon colorstay is really good coverage and looks natural. its about 拢11. if you're quite pale and getting a tan then you might want the shade 'Buff'. its the second shade down. but test them out.
you might want to get a brush to apply it. I use the foundation brush by GOSH it was about 拢10 it's really good plus its good for coverage and it helps the foundation look natural.
NO! Why do you want to cover up freckles?? I always wanted freckles and still do, you lucky cow!! Lol =)

Hope this helps.
liquid mineral coverup for under your eyes
and wouldn't try to hide your freckles but a mineral foundation can neutralize them a little and help them blend in a little more
i reccomend bareminerals or elf mineral foundation
but most minerals work the same
Maybelline dream satin mineral matte foundation.

As a professional makeup artist for over 20 years I highly recommend Bee Luscious Liquid Minerals it lasts 8-9 months roughly the cost is 36 but well worth it because of the lasting effect and they have a 25% off sale now. I love Bare Minerals....if you goto Sephora or Ulta, they will give you a free demo! It's very light %26amp; it does cost a little more, but you don't use as much as you would the other stuff. Also I wore liquid foundation for 10+yrs....after wearing Bare Mineral, I would not go back.....liquid just feels too heavy.
clinique is always good you just need to ask the sales associate and they'll give you the perfect one that matches your skin type and tone i love it because it isnt so heavy and isnt horrible for my skin
Try puritycosmetics.co.uk. It is really good!

Does Revlon Beyond Natural Foundation really work?
Yes. I have used it before. It works well. I hope this helps. Does Revlon Beyond Natural Foundation really work?
Yes, it does! I use it almost every day. It's great for nice, light coverage. Before I started using this stuff, I used both liquid and powder foundation. It looked fine, but it was a lot of work, and I sweat off a lot of it. Beyond natural is much lighter, and it feels like it's not even on. You should definitely try it! :)Does Revlon Beyond Natural Foundation really work?

Best natural and longest lasting foundation?
I currently use Maybelline Mineral Power and its natural looking, but not long lasting. I've heard Revlon Colourstay last a really long time as does the Rimmel Lasting finish, but I hate when you can tell im wearing foundation. Which one looks most natural, and which one is longer wearing? I only need about 8 hours of wear.
Or should I just try a primer underneath the Maybelline Mineral Power?
Any other product suggestions? Not Bare/Everyday Minerals, or anything too pricey, such as Clinique or Chanel.Best natural and longest lasting foundation?
Well a primper will help the foundation stay on longer. But my favorite is from loreal.
for pressed powder, L'Oreal True Match Powder; target walmart walgreens, $10 this product actual won an award from allure of 2008.

or loose powder L'Oreal Bare Naturale Mineral Makeup; target walmart walgreens, $15 (built in brush)

seriously--- my boss swore by bare minerals-- and since i am too cheap to buy it she gave me one.. I thought nothing was really 'worth it' til now!!.. anyway, i use it everyday and i have had it about 6 months.. it works amazing, lasts all day, you need such a tiny bit that its way cheaper over the long run over a maybelline/covergirl priced product... i would definately invest-- they may have samples at the store.. you'll love it
i would try primer, urban decay brand. you would be surprised how much it will help. then, you can use the foundation you have and not have to buy more.
Bobbi Brown is really natural and has excellent and long lasting foundation.

What's the best way to apply foundation so it looks natural?
I think I've got the right colour but I can't apply it right. I have a liquid kind and a powder finish. When I try to use it it looks dry/caked on making me look old! And if I moisturise first then it goes on really unevenly. HELP lolWhat's the best way to apply foundation so it looks natural?
Apply less. Your foundation should not cover every single flaw, that's where concealer comes in. If you try to hide it all with foundation you will just look like a powered mask.
Also, try applying it with a damp sponge (if it's liquid). It will help you keep it sheer. What's the best way to apply foundation so it looks natural?
Even if it goes on unevenly, you need to have a moustrurizer or it will be dry and look caked. Then, it depends how you want your coverage.
Natural: Put some of the liquid foundation on the top of your hand. Rub it a little. This helps to warm the foundation, and get it ready do go more evenly on your face. It makes a big difference!! Then, take a quarter of it on your finger, and spread it over part of your face. Blend with your finger(s) too. Continue until you have covered your face. If it looks fine, don't use the powder, that might be what is making it look caked.
More Coverage: Do the same at the beginning, putting it on your hand. Then just take it with a foundation brush, and apply it evenly on your face.
Something that might help - Look on youtube and makeup brand websites for tutorials!
Hope it helps!
First, you should start with a primer. It makes it last longer and helps you achieve even coverage. Also, use only a small amount and apply it with a professial sponge which are very cheap.

Bare natural mineral foundation powder by Loreal?
how is it for coverage?
i nearly always have at least one little red pimple on my chin.lol %26amp; red around my nose.
foundations cover it fine but will this?Bare natural mineral foundation powder by Loreal?
It works good for your dark under eye circles. I mean you should put a little concealer on your pimple then put the mineral foundation over it. I use it. It looks really natural and your face will look smooth.Bare natural mineral foundation powder by Loreal?

Does Revlon Colorstay Foundation look natural?
I use Maybelline Mineral Power and its natural looking, but not long lasting. I've heard Revlon Colourstay last a really long time, but I hate when you can tell Im wearing foundation, does it look natural? Could I combine it with moisturiser?
Or should I just try a primer underneath the Maybelline Mineral Power?Does Revlon Colorstay Foundation look natural?
As long as it matches your skin tone, I think it'll look natural. One thing to know about this foundation is that it's very very thick. So less is more. If you put on too much, it's going to look really really bad.
You can get more of a sheer coverage with it by stippling it on with a stippling brush - I've also used a flat top brush the same way as the stippling brush and it works fine. The key is to not get too much product on the brush (You can youtube videos on how to do it). It dries pretty quickly, so work on one area of your face at a time - I suggest starting from the outer areas and moving your way in.
You can also try Rimmel's Lasting Finish foundation. It's supposed to last 16 hours and be transfer resistant. I haven't personally tried it, but I've heard really good things about it and it's staying power.
Good luck.Does Revlon Colorstay Foundation look natural?
Well of course in the everyday life you can ALWAYS tell somebody is wearing foundation, expecially with daylight :(
And remember this is a LIQUID foundation (less natural looking than the mineral type)
HOWEVER Revlon foundations are known for having a pretty wide and natural looking range of colours ^^ and the colorstay line is the most long lasting from the brand, so... I would definitely give it a go ;)
Hope I helped you out, let me know!
i combine my foundation with sun cream. first i put on sun cream then foundation. I think it does look natural as long as it is the closest color to your face that you can get. Try a sample at the store.
yes no maybe i dont know

Does anyone know of a foundation that looks natural and not powdery when dry?
I have loreal true color match, but i feel like it covers my face too much, even when i mix it with moisturizer. I have naturally dry skin and i'm trying to cover scars from old acne. Also, it makes the hair on my face really visible......even though i barely have any. HeLP?Does anyone know of a foundation that looks natural and not powdery when dry?
you should try mac. i had this problem too. my make-up would also show but then i bought this foundation and it works great! remember to put a good moisturizer before putting foundation don't mix it. and for acne scars put a heavy concealer and then put the foundation over it. thats what i do and it covers them up pretty well. =] hope it works! and if that don't work try getting those little sponges to put foundation on and put water in it and squeeze it out; and then put foundation on it, and dab it on your face.Does anyone know of a foundation that looks natural and not powdery when dry?
hmm i would try mary kay tinted moisturizer and then top it off with mary kay's loose powder (apply with a sponge)
I use mary kays medium coverage foundation and the loose powder and it works great for me... its sounds like you need a foundation that works more like a moisturizer.. but if you use a powder on top of it then it'll give you the coverage you need.
If you just apply a bit of powder on top of your foundation it'll really help make your face appear more flawless. Most girls overdo this part and end up looking really funky... the secret is just to apply a little to give a matte finish. (And after that I usually apply a shimmer powder to my cheek bones.) :)
contact a consultant and get a free facial... try out the products and find the color that matches you best...
MAC tinted moustrizer its!! great and it looks totally natural it never gets powdery and its not to thick. ive never tried anything else since i started using it cuz it works so well. i like other MAC foundation but some are to thick and it feels liek im wearing a mask. i love MAC they have the best makeup ever and its really good quality and compared to some makeup its really cheap!!
Maybeline mouse%26lt;3
Revlon color stay
mac quick fix powder is the best in my opinion. the mac workers will find the perfect shade for you. dont use the pad it comes with buy a powder brush that way it uses less and spreads more evenly on your face.
caryl baker cover up.... best stuff ever
Merle Norman
estee lauder double wear sounds like a mask doesn't feel like one 35.00 dollars a bottle last longer and you will thank me.
BARE MINERALS!!!! i am absolutely obsesssssed with it!! it covers up my old acne scars perfectly and it isn't cakey or anything. I am tellling you. . .TRY IT!! it's the best thing on earth. Start off with the starter-kit. . .it's a little expensive (about $60) but it comes with the brushes and everything. The foundation itself is $18-$25. . .Please try it. I promise you will love it :)
You should try N.Y.C. cover up powder. It's called ';Traslucent'; and it looks like you are hardly wearing any makeup at all, but it hides things very well.
Bare Essentials is beautiful...I love it!
Lancome
In covering old acne scars you should use a light matte mousse type. It's goes on light and fills in problem areas. Better yet, it isn't shiny!
Maybelline.
mac products work great
I lovee sheer cover make up! They had an infomercial on it, and it works really well. Celebs use it too, and it blends in so nicely

How is natural selection the foundation of evolution?
evolution is essentially a change in populations over time, for example moths skin color changing to match soot covered trees. in order for those changes to occur there must be something to ';filter'; variations. these filters are selective pressures, and the most basic one is natural selection in which creatures that are born with bad variations don't survive as long, and thus don't reproduce as much as those born with good variations. How is natural selection the foundation of evolution?
organisms are selected to evolve by ? but they have a need to evolve or ';they get ahead of the pack'; compared to the other animals in there species b/c they are selected to become more fit to live in the enviorment that was changing at the time it is the structure for evolution because it is a demonstartion of evolutionHow is natural selection the foundation of evolution?
The same way selective breeding is the foundation of the dairy industry.
Those in a population that nature selects to die, do not evolve

Mineral Wear Talc-Free Mineral Liquid Foundation in Natural Ivory?
As you can see in my photo I am very fair-skinned, I usally wear Loreal True Match in Porcelien and that matches my skin perfectly, however I am having acne problems so I wanted some thing natural. So I am wondering before I buy this, is this light enough for me????? Thanks!Mineral Wear Talc-Free Mineral Liquid Foundation in Natural Ivory?
Ugh, I'm really pale too. It's such a pain to find a matching foundation.
I'd suggest picking up the foundation. But keep your receipt. That way, if it's the wrong color, you can return it and get your money back. Most drugstores have pretty good cosmetics refund policies.
Good luck hon!

How do you put foundation on for a natural look?
I am using a Loreal brand of foundation and it works great! But the problem is my cheeks for some reason always red. But when I put the foundation on I still see red from my cheeks till I put on the powder. Any tips? How do you put foundation on for a natural look?
you need to put a good moisturizer before applying foundation on; this will make it look natural. also for the red spots on your cheeks put concealer on them and then put powder over them. How do you put foundation on for a natural look?
I have that too. I actually don't mind it though. You can try applying some powder or blush. Try finding a blush thats a tan color. Also, bronzer is good, you can try applying a touch of that to the red.

I just bought maybelline mineral power powder foundation in natural ivory. have you tried it?
i have combination skin if you needed to know that as well. i looked up some reviews but would also like to here from all the people in beauty %26amp; style. so, tell me what you think of it! thanks!I just bought maybelline mineral power powder foundation in natural ivory. have you tried it?
yeah ive used it. honestly i didnt like it, i didnt like the coverage it gave, it was minum coverage.
and i also noticed that if i applied it more than twice in one day, like reapply it, cause i have oily skin, it got really cakey and didnt look good. also i noticed that alot of the product was wasted cause it would fall off the brush or out of the pot.
one thing i liked about it was my face felt really soft.
but try and see if it works for you.
:)I just bought maybelline mineral power powder foundation in natural ivory. have you tried it?
I think that it was a little over-rated, i think this because i gave it a try and was not happy when taking it off.
it looked like my skin, and better than anything. The only problem was, since is went deep into my pores, they became clogged, and resulted in tiny pimples, this didn't happen to only me. i dont use it anymore though, but i have really sensitive skin.
i hope its working for you though:).
I used to use it for a long time. I liked how it covered and it lasts all day (unless you get completely wet!). However, I recently started selling AVON and, of course, decided if I am going to sell it then I have to at least try their product. I actually like it better than the Maybelline! Plus, since AVON is always running specials on it, it comes out cheaper than the store brands and MUCH cheaper than Mary Kay (about half).
Yes it did not go good the colour was to dark it went cakey uhh
i prefer the body shops so much better and easier to use
I prefer Mary Kay products.

Do you know of a powder or liquid foundation that looks natural in sun light and white lighting?
a powder makeup is what I would like to use but if you don't know of one that looks natural then liquid foundation is fine. i just want one that looks NATURAL. I need it to even out my skin tone. something that is under 20$ would be nice. thanks.Do you know of a powder or liquid foundation that looks natural in sun light and white lighting?
if you feel that you dont look natural, maybe you have overdone it with your foundation.
try getting those foundation sponge(the flat, round one), spray on some facial toning mist or toner onto it and pat it onto your face. it would help to take off the excess foundations you have applied on and make your overall look more natural.Do you know of a powder or liquid foundation that looks natural in sun light and white lighting?
I live in sunny Florida...and what works best for me is an all-day hydrating make-up made by Cover Girl called CG SMOOTHERS. It gives a nice finish and stays in place for about eight hours without deteriorating. I have pale olive skin and use the 720. Most drug stores carry this as well as chains like K-Mart. Have fun!
idk my liqued foundation looks pretty natural in both... but if u put it on rong then it duznt look so natural in wite lite. anywayz..... its covergirl___liqued foundatio??? idk the specifis name but its Covergult fer sure!
I use Everyday Minerals. It's mineral makeup and it's much better than Bare Minerals. It's also cheap. You can get a free sample kit to find your shade, you just pay 3 bucks shipping. Full sized products are only like 12 dollars. The problem with liquid makeup is that it rarely looks like natural skin. Plus it feels heavy. If you find a mineral foundation that matches your skin tone, it won't show in natural light.
I would try bare minerals or another mineral foundation. It is $25 but lasts a long time and is worth every penny!

How do you apply foundation so it looks natural like your not wearing any makeup?
I have covergirl clean make up, neutrogena skin clearing make up, and trublend powder foundation to work with. How do you apply foundation so it looks natural like your not wearing any makeup?
Actually, there are a few things you can try:
- Invest in a foundation bursh...I can tell you from experience that blending is the key
- Mix a dab of moisturizer with your foundation then apply...it will look flawless and naturalHow do you apply foundation so it looks natural like your not wearing any makeup?
use makeup that's oil free.
use the minimal amount. just enough to cover blemishes and stuff.
neutrogena works very well. i use that. also, you could try bare minerals.
you should use foundation that is oil-free, also when you put foundation on, put it on like concealer so dot it on blemishes and that sort of stuff. then just brush over a light amount of powder
Invest in primer and good quality make-up brushes.

hmm...revlon makes a good liquid foundation called Colorstay. it's supposed to be a dupe for MAC's studio fix fluid. it also comes in two formations - Combination/Oily and Normal/Dry. Im not sure about the coverage it gives, but here are a lot of reviews on this site:
Loreal's True Match Foundation
ALMAY has a decent one. Also Max Factor.

Revlon natural foundation is it good?
that advertisement on the television for the revlon foundation which is white then turns to your skin tone, has anyone tries it? is it good or a waste of money because i dont want to buy something thats rubbish and i wont use again.
i have pale skin so will it still be ok?
thanks for any comments about the productRevlon natural foundation is it good?
basically its just a normal foundation (coloured pigments suspended in a cream base) the only difference is all the colours in held in little bubbles which burst as you blend and that makes the foundation change colour! it will turn the same colour on every skin...the reason it will blend is because the coverage is so light! and fair skins beware...the lightest shade is more of a light beige so it may leave you looking a little yellow! try l'oreal true match...similar price, slightly better cover and a much better selection of shades for fair skins!Revlon natural foundation is it good?
I love Revlon beyond natural foundation (and the whole palette). I use light shade, just apply allover your face like a cream, make sure everything is covered evenly and than tap it into your skin for about 15 seconds so it blends with it. It has light to medium coverage and it looks really natural, like your own skin. I always apply a little loose powder over it just to make sure it stays longer.
If you have blemishes or very uneven skin tone and need a strong coverage, maybe you'll need something stronger. Just go to the shop without makeup and try once for yourself.
Revlon as a whole is not a good product. If you dont want to go through the expense of buying makeup through a deparment store then I would use maybelline products. They are pretty good.
I have pale skin too
I think its a waste of money ..
Its not 'magic'
If you rub it too much it goes darker than your natural skin tone
Thumbs down from me

How can you make foundation look more natural?
Just not cakey/powdery. With foundation, concealer, and powder. I have fair skin and currently use Mineral blend liquid foundation by Maybelline, Concealer by Mary Kay, and loose mineral powder by Covergirl. ThanksHow can you make foundation look more natural?
try l'oreal tru match, works really well. press powder. use a sponge for foundation. hope it helps, works for me ! ps: loose powder i find...makes your face look cakey or dry, also i use a little dab of moisturizer on face or sponge/mix with foundation if skin is dryHow can you make foundation look more natural?
use your concealer to cover up under eyes, blemishes, irregularities... what ever you use it for. Then dilute (slightly) your foundation with a moisturizer (face lotion) this will thin it out a little but still work... then just use a translucent powder... NEVER press powder it's to thick and you can always tell you're wearing it. All the powder is for is just to set the foundation... kinda absorb the dampness on your skin... it takes very very little. This is one of the cases where less is more. just remember to blend it into your neck also... then you will avoid the ';mask'; look.
Try using products from one line they are made to work together. The other thing is your skin care routine I sell a skin care line and people who don't purchase the skin care only the foundation 9 out of 10 call me to tell me it doesn't go on as well as when they tried it and that's because they weren't using the skin care so make sure you are using a good skin care and highly recommend using all the same brand for the best results.
I mix a cream foundation with my lotion. Lotion doesn't sit on top of your face like foundation does, so when you mix the two together, the same effect occurs. By mixing the two, it'll be like putting on 'perfection lotion.' Then, brush your face with a loose, mineral powder to cover shine and you're done! :)
Don't use a lot. Always make sure to wash your face at night, and make sure your getting all the dead skin off so your make up goes on smoothly.
Also, you can apply a moisturizer before applying make up and it will give it a dewy glow instead of flat, and cakey.
Mix your liquid foundation with your moisturizer. Then it becomes a tinted moisturizer. A tinted moisturizer basically evens out your skin tone making you look natural without looking like you have lots of foundation on. Make sure you set it with a powder.
Good Luck! =)
mist your aplicator sponge with water before u use it on your face it helps the fondation to blend with your skin alot better and prevents cakey-ness plus it feels cool and refreshing
put it on your neck and mix the

I want to purchase a LIGHT, NATURAL looking foundation and don't want to be taken advantage of by the sales?
people at the makeup counter. What products do I really need? What's a good brand for African American skin? I want to purchase a LIGHT, NATURAL looking foundation and don't want to be taken advantage of by the sales?
sephora is a great place to go...a tons of brands and they are not pushy. i am mixed with german, black, asian, and latin....so my skin tone is a tawny light caramel color, but a lil dry. what i do is buy a foundation9 perscriptives flawless number 29) and mix it with my face lotion to thin it out. it looks very sheer. i first put on smashbox primer ( which i get at sephora), then put on my own mixed tinted moisturizer on top, and then quick dust of l'oreal mineral setting powder to mak it last. perscripitves has alot of great dark color opitions, my darker skinned cousins swear by them. I want to purchase a LIGHT, NATURAL looking foundation and don't want to be taken advantage of by the sales?
If you have Sephora to shop at, go in and play around w/ various brands. I really like Laura Mercier's as it stays all day, doesn't oxidize/change color, and you dont need much. It isn't the least $, but the closeable sifter allows you to use a little at a time, not wasting product. Look at that to see if a shade matches you. also, not every employee at Sephora is a makeup artist, and even if you call ahead and book 15 min free consult, that is something to get you started w/brands.
Another one is from an etailer - Everyday Minerals. I believe you can get a few small samples, so you can decide which is your best match. Lot of raves for the quality, price, lasts through day/evening, and especially feels nice on. Use a richer moisturizer on any dry areas of your face before application.
Sephora I always felt sold the best make-up. But I use something called bare minerals which is a loose powder, it looks great, covers up nicely, and you can't feel it on your skin which is GREAT. Sephora also sells kits of powder make up to help match your skin tone. Another great loose powder is ID. Good luck! Also, you can't go wrong with covergirl.
Try the new mineral powder..like the ones advertised on TV. You can get it at Walmarts for about $8. I have some and it looks nice and goes on smooth. You might still need to use a concealer, if u have real dark spots. Pay close attention to color.
mineral makeup is always good for light coverage. If you like maybelline, mineral power is awesome and has great coverage. Bare minerals works really well too
Try bare minerals. I love it. They make it in all different shades and will match it to your skin tone.
Go to www.eyeslipsface.com . They have amazing make-up very cheap.
