Is Bare Minerals the best natural foundation?

Compared to other products like Netrogena Minerals, Revlon, and any other products which has the best coverage and doesn't cause breakouts? Is Bare Minerals the best natural foundation?
first it is not natural. it has bismuth oxychloride and although bismuth is natural bismuth oxychloride is not. bo clogs pores and causes itching.

the best ever mineral foundation is by bee luscious. there is no bismuth or talc.Is Bare Minerals the best natural foundation?
In my personal experience it is the best because many of the drug store brands still have talc or other chemicals in their mineral products which irritates my skin. It is the best for your skin but nothing covers like a liquid, so if you need heavy duty cover up minerals aren't the way to go.
I don't think that it covers up that well personally but it's probably the best out there.

Here's a guide to buying mineral makeup:

I don't think it doesn't cause breakouts,but I think it's the best foundation.
YEAH IVE HERD ITTS THE BEST

Revlon Beyond Natural skin matching foundation. . . does it work?

Im going to be buying some new foundation soon and wondered if anyone out there had given the new revlon skin matching foundation a try? Does it work? Give me some pros, cons and maybe a foundation recommendation of your own. (I have combination/oily skin) Thanks all!Revlon Beyond Natural skin matching foundation. . . does it work?
I'd say there are only pros because it happens to work wonders for me!

You really can find your match, and it goes on smooth.

You should try it, hun.

I am 13 and need a NATURAL foundation that controls shine and preferably stays on?

Hi there, I just have finished answering a cosmetic question for someone. I'm a professional make up artist %26amp; also have a 13yr old daughter.

The foundation that I have given my daughter to use is a MINERAL FOUDNATION. Please make sure you read the information on the package that it says something like '; does not contain any irritants, or all natural';

I know when your young, you don't have alot of money to spend, but I STRONGLY suggest trying to stay away from cheeper brands because the use these ';irritants'; to keep the cost of their product down.

Great ones to try are L'Oreal, Revlon %26amp; if you can get it in your area or order it online ( with the help of mom %26amp; her credit card, if that's a option) BARE MINERALS/BARE ESSENTIALS .

Even if you don't order it online, they have a great color guide to help you pick your best color.

Anymore questions, please feel free to email me @ : geminiphs@hotmail.com

I hope I was able to help my dear :)I am 13 and need a NATURAL foundation that controls shine and preferably stays on?
CoverGirl Clean Makeup Oil Control works really well at oil control and is natural. i happen to have shine in my t-zone, and it works well for me. unfortunately, the foundation is really hard to get out of the glass bottle. what i do is pour it into the cap and then dip my wedge sponge into that. then i pour the excess back into the bottle. it's a little messy but the foundation is good enough that it makes up for it.I am 13 and need a NATURAL foundation that controls shine and preferably stays on?
i use this power stuff from boots it called natural collection, its boots own brand, it blends in well, makes me look flawless, and i have oily skin! my mates used to make fun of me coz i had shiny patches, so i bought some of the natural collection pressed power and that works fine, its really fine, it absorbs to oil, it doesnt make you look cakey or orange, and it doesnt cause spots, when i first started using it, it cleared the spots up!

its about £2 at boots so its cheap but good for me!
i use L'oreal true match powder foundation
i use clinique compact and it works for me...it doesn't look like ur wearing any makeup at all...which makes me happy : )
Dream Matte Moose, In my opinion, dont use make up till ya older because your skin wont be that nice when your older!
try miss sporty foundation

its not shiny and helps with spots!!

Which foundation for a natural glow to face?

I hardly where makeup just eyeshadow and mascara, I don't have any acne, but I want my face to have a glow or smooth feeling and look to it. NO shiny look or cake face. Just something Natural.. Thanks.

I've heard mineral foundation works, but eh, I have no idea! Brands and tips please! Thanks so much! Which foundation for a natural glow to face?
Bare Escentuals is a great brand. It is a healthy alternative to the usual heavy makeup most wear. The ingredients are all natural minerals which will not clog pores. Their foundation (Bare Minerals) is superior to any other and a little goes a long way. The brand might seem a little pricey at first glance, but it really lasts a long time and once you try it, you will never go back to regular foundation. All you do is put a little in the lid of the jar, swirl the brush around in the lid, tap off excess and apply in a circular motion around your face. It literally feels like you are not wearing makeup, however, it gives GREAT coverage and lasts all day. It makes your face look almost flawless but compared with the liquid foundations and the old powder types, you feel like you're wearing nothing. It's really strange but true! They have a fantastic selection of colors to choose from. The following link will take you to Bare Escentuals foundation page where you can see all their shades. http://store.bareescentuals.com/bareMine鈥?/a> After looking at their shade colors, click on the shade selector button and view 15 diverse women to see if one of them is close to your tone. I think this will be very helpful as there is a description of the tone next to each face and the shade that goes along with it. Also, just so you know, their concealer is fabulous and easy to apply. I totally recommend the bisque multi tasking minerals which is really a fantastic concealer along with the foundation, at least to start. Great coverage. They have starter kits to purchase which makes it more afordable, and gives you everything necessary including the brushes. You can view a ';how to apply'; video at the following link which will be good for you and extemely helpful. Watch it and see. If it seems to good to be true, it is not. Trust me...it is wonderful! The link to see the video is:

Hope this was helpful! Good luck and God bless!Which foundation for a natural glow to face?
I barely wear make-up as well. But when I have to I HIGHLY recommend wearing ID Bare Minerals. It's not cake like and goes on so light. It barely feels like you are wearing anything. It might be pricey but I swear that it is worth it. I usually wear that foundation with just mascara and I'm good to go. You might want to buy the starter kit or go into one of their stores (they are starting to open in alot of malls) or try going into Ulta. They are usually friendly and helpful in their with choosing colors and such. Try not to let them pressure you into buying unnecessary brushes though cause they are pricey as well. Good luck and I hope this helps.
I wouldn't go with mineral makeup!! It's drying sometimes and in reality it doesn't give you a glow.

Try a tinted moisturizer, and mix it with a liquid highlighter. One dewy tinted moisturizer I have is by Physicians Formula and it's the Organic one, you can't miss it. It won't be as smooth as you might like, but also a light weight one that isn't too thick or fake looking... is Maybelline liquid mineral foundation, I don't know the name of it but I love it. It's sheer, but just enough to smoothen out your skin.

I wait until it's 40-50% off at drugstores. So then it's only like 5$.

There are lots of liquid highlighters out there, from bonne bell, to Stila, to No7 Boots. Or the Revlon one.
I am the queen of makeup! I know every kind and which looks best on different people. Try either Avon Mineral Powder, or Mark Face Xpert. If you want to get something you will find in stores, try some Rimmel Mineral Makeup and get a cheap mascara. You'll have a great look in no time. Also if you want to glam it up a little, just add some darker eyeshadow.
My favorite as a makeup artist is Bare Minerals by ID. The starter kit comes with everything you need to start having a perfect looking face with great coverage that is all natural and is good for your skin which is why you see so many companies turning to Minerals. They are not as expensive as people think. The kit comes with 3 brushes and alone each brush is at least 20 bucks. You basically get the makeup free. I love it and I love the way my face isn't oily anymore. I am glad I no longer use liquid cover. It's great for acne also. You can actually sleep in it. It com es with a cd to tell you how to use their makeup. A few other things they sell can help you achieve the look you want. Skin rever-upper, It comes with the kit too. One that doesn't is well rested, it's my saver. It makes your eyes look rested by covering bags. Then get rose radiance unless you are tan then get warm radiance. They even have clear radiance. All are great. I buy their whole line. Ever since I found it I fell in love and so did everyone in my life. You will enjoy it too. You an try it free and get a free makeover at Sephora or ulta. Have fun, Hope this helps.
I don't wear makeup either, but the only thing i have found that can really work to make your skin have a healthy glow is to eat salmon! it really helps and it is good for you. Eat healthy foods and take care of your body, your skin reflects what you put into it.
After you moisturize and prime, mix a bit of highlighter with your foundation. If you use a powder or cream foundation mix the highlighter with your moisturizer, then prime and put on foundation.
I would suggest L'oreal Bare Mineral. The best way to apply it is to lightly brush the powder over your face. By keeping a light hand you will keep the look fresh and light.

How to make foundation look as natural as possible?

We aren't allowed to wear foundation at school, but i still like to wear it anyway. How can i best apply it so it looks as natural as possible, without that fake powdery look? How to make foundation look as natural as possible?
Try tinted moisturisers.......How to make foundation look as natural as possible?
Okay.

I used this foundation called ';true blend'; and it is a miracle.

I've never had a foundation look good on me.

And it's not liquid either. it's fluffy whipped foundation that spreads on really easy, and blends.

Look for it.

It depends what skin tone you have though.
i recommend bare minerals foundation by bare escentuals. it just looks like beautiful, flawless skin. it costs 25.00 and lasts about one year, with daily use. it is buffed into the skin with a kabuki brush. good luck !
Mineral foundation. If you go to Everyday Minerals you can get free samples for the cost of S%26amp;H to make sure you like it-and their prices are WAY better than Bare Escentuals. I have never felt or seen anything like it-I can actually stand to wear makeup!
Apply a very light amount of it. Get a foundation that's not too far from your skin tone.
The color has to be the closest to your skin color!! Powder has a much more natural look, then put it on more lightly.
use two-way foundation, as u can choose between using a wet sponge or dry sponge when you applying the foundation.....using wet sponge will give you a natural and medium coverage of blemishes on face....if using dry sponge, will give a light and oil-free look, but beware of applying too many powder until having a powdery look, so using two-way foundation u can actually choose between applying with two way depending the look u want.

if using liquid foundation at school, it is not really suitable for us who are still students as it is not good for young skin, will easily block our pores and lead to acne-prone skin.

  • What is the best foundation for a natural look?

I've tried so many foundations but non of them look natural so can someone tell me a good foundation such as revlon covergirl loreal or whichever is good! What is the best foundation for a natural look?
Try the new Cover Girl Aqua smooth. I use the one in the blue compact. It transforms from solid to liquid and you don't have to use a whole lot at once. It makes your skin look amazing. They also have concealer of that same brand which also has aqua smooth and it makes eye circles not look so dark and noticeable. I have tried so many cover up brands and I think this one is the best. You can read reviews on the covergirl.com website. It is about 12 bucks where I bought it at walmart but cover up last a while and I think it is a very good one!

What is the best foundation to have natural flawless looking skin?

I tried the Dream Matte Mousse... it looks fake

I tried the Bare Minerals...it was expensive and did nothing

What looks natural? What is the best foundation to have natural flawless looking skin?
Are you looking for any coverage at all? light, medium, and full coverage requires difference types of foundation. I have a basic procedure for natural looking skin without foundation (For light to medium coverage only). Mix make up base (aka primer) with tinted moisturizer. For more coverage, you can add a drop of foundation.

    Few recommendations for primer:

Laura Geller Spackle- gives skin a glossy glow

    Laura Mercier Foundation Primer - very light, makes your skin look ';air brushed';

DHC Q10 Moist Color Base SPF 30+ - color corrector with UV protection.

    Recommendations for Tinted Moisturizer

    Bobbi Brown: Natural Finish, lightweight

Laura Mercier: Doll like finish, adds Glow to your skin, light weight

Paula Dorf: Powder Finish but very natural. A little bit more coverage than the other two

I also hear Stila's Sheer Color Tinted Moisturizer is pretty good too. I think it gives a glowing effect. I've try it once, forgot about what's so special about this one. sorry =p

You also want to make sure your make up stays on fresh all day.

    - Dior's HydrAction Deep Hydration Refreshing Spray, resets your make up, your skin will look so smooth like you just put on your make up. Great for hydration.

    - Make Up For Ever Mist %26amp; Fix, spray this after you finish with your make up. It's like a shield that will protect your skin and your make up.

Buying all these products are big investment, you should really try it in the store first, then buy it. Or if you really have the courage, ask the store clerk for samples, if they have any. Have fun hunting =)What is the best foundation to have natural flawless looking skin?
jlassier, I've used aularale cosmetics for years now and absolutely love it. Check out their website at aularale.com/7002, I'm sure you'll find everything you need.
not to wear any, is the most natural way =]
    Loreal True Match N3
    no makeup
The BEST foundation ever is the Liquid Powder Mineral Foundation from Bee-Luscious. It gives you a very natural look because it has no talc (makes you look ghostly), no bismuth (shiny heavy metal found in most cosmetics and potentially dangerous) and no oils (makes your foundation look cakey). Look up Bee-Luscious on Google.
I think Clinique is great, It is light and it has things in it that are helpful to your skin. I always get compliments about how pretty my face is. I have to tell people it's make-up. The cool thing about Clinique is that they will help you pick the right foundation, and they will make your face up for free if you let them. Try it...I don't think you'll be disappointed.
I'm looking for something too, but so far Almay has come sooooooooo close it's ridiculus. It might work for your skin, but for my skin I had to use a primer because my skin would absorb it and that would make it cake, but if your skin doesn't absorb things as fast as mine does it would look FANTASTIC! (Don't get the smart shade stuff though)
I love make-up and the BEST foundation I have ever tried is The FACE shop's PHYTOGENIC Foundation.. Its liquid in form and very easy to apply and even in the face.. it looks really natural just pick up the right color for your skin which I think they have 7 or 8 kinds to match closely different skin types, and it has SPF10 so you get some skin protection when you use it.. It's really nice! I don't really know if there is a face shop in your country or near your place so you can check it in the net. its not that expensive compared to bare minerals but it costs more than the dream matte mousse .. (';,)
Before any foundation a good layer of moisturizer helps me a lot.

Thanks for all answers. What is the best powder foundation that looks natural?
everyday minerals is greatWhat is the best powder foundation that looks natural?
Philosophys Supernatural Airbrushed Canvas, its 3 in 1 - concealer, foundation, powder and the best part is it has a puff on the top which you just tap onto your skin and then buff the powder into your skin. Takes about 2 mins to put on and lasts all day. A little pricey but totally worth it.
Definitely MAC Studio Fix Powder. It works great and the MAC counter has tons of shades so they'll be able to find the perfect shade for you so it looks natural. It doesn't cake on and you can't even see that your wearing it when you look up close. It has a medium coverage though. So if you get that occasional blemish that pops up it will definitely cover it up brilliantly.
well i dont like powder foundation...1) because it never looks natural and 2) because it breaks me out out. I started using Dinair Airbrush Makeup 2 years ago and i LOVE it...its all water based so its not bad for ur skin and its light weight so it looks natural. it covers everything up and makes my skin look flawless. if u google Dinair u will find the site and u can look through it...hope i helped...=)
Bare minerals! Sometimes they have the actual store at the mall, or you can go to ulta. If not then you can definitely buy it online, at the actual website.
Ideal Shade Smooth Mineral Makeup, Avon is just as good, if not better, then clinique and is ALOT cheaper.
Try a minerals foundation, I use L'Oreal true match minerals its light %26amp; covers your blemishes while giving your skin a natural look
Physician's Formula Mineral Powder. You can purchase it at most general merchandise stores.

Loreal, in my opinon, works really good.

i use loreal visible lift, and i have red skin as well.

    but with this foundation, i even had a chick come up to me and say, ';I wish i had your skin!';

haha, so yeah, loreal works pretty good. i just have to reapply it like every two hours, but that's fine with me.

=)What is the best natural looking liquid foundation that gives great coverage?
i use this natural foundation colour from faceshop, it comes in a tube. its a liquid foundation but dries matt. i have some red spots and it gives great coverage!
paula dorf is amazing but pricey. lasts forever though
i agree with your friend. it works great if you have acne too.

it is my first time using foundation and im thinking of either maybelline mineral powder natural perfecting powder foundation or maybelline dream matte mouse.. i want something natural, not caky and light, i would like to look like i have no makeup on.. which do you think would be better? thanks for the input! :)What do you think of maybelline mineral powder natural perfecting powder foundation?
If you want to try Mineral makeup you should use Bare Minerals. I have used many others out there and now only use this kind. I buy the foundation and mineral veil. I also use all over face color. I buy them discounted at QVC. It is the best place to buy it.

All the other ones are nothing compared to Bare Minerals. What do you think of maybelline mineral powder natural perfecting powder foundation?
Maybelline Mineral Powder is horrible. I bought it once and i hated it, it really didn't do much of anything as far as covering anything up. For me it was to chalky i guess..don't waste your money, Buy L'oreal bare naturale mineral foundation, that one is worth it. It works soooo good

I have dream matte mousse and it's ok. it's only for really really light coverage. i wouldn't buy it if you have acne or scars or any big imperfections you might wanna cover up cause it won't work.

like i said buy l'oreal bare naturale it covers up EVERYTHING!!
If you are oily, I do not recommend any one of these. But in comparison, minerals are better for your skin and Maybelline's minerals are pretty good-

Revlon True match Beyond Natural Foundation?

If i have bright red cheeks,

Will it go wierd over them or go to my undertones?Revlon True match Beyond Natural Foundation?
I've got that foundation, it doesn't actually change to the colour of your face, it's friction activated to change to one colour for everybody but blends in very well. So it will go beige over the redness no problem. I've done little tests on to see how it works by putting it on a piece of black paper and rubbing it with a black plastic spoon onto the paper: it still turns beige. If it worked as they say it would turn blackRevlon True match Beyond Natural Foundation?
if you have bright red cheeks, u can cover them with a green concealer to counteract the redness. A good one is by Loreal Studio Secrets Professionals ( the new line by Linda Evangelista).

How do I make my foundation look natural?

I use a dime sized amount of foundation, it looks good when I put it on but when I look at it 20 minutes later my face is orange!

How can I prevent this from happening?

What foundation will give me nice coverage and not make my face orange? How do I make my foundation look natural?
Mineral Makeup is the holy grail of foundations as they really cover well, have minimal amount of ingredients and can make anyone look good. Having said that not all are created equal. The best I have come across (and I have used many) is Faerie Organic Minerals. They are light, airy, cover amazing and just blend into your natural skin leaving you look flawless and glowy. I use their celebrity airbrush minerals daily and you can't even tell I am wearing makeup. They have a free sample kit so you can try several colors all at once before buying the full size. I used my samples for over a month. You can get them here........http://www.faerieorganic.com trust me you will love them. How do I make my foundation look natural?
Like sarah said, find a better shade. but also, look at what type you are using. liquid, powder, cream? make sure it matches with your skin type.

liquid goes on the sheerest so it is less noticeable but still gives coverage. if that is still too orange, mix the foundation with normal moisturizer to make it thinner.
Liquid foundations are a little more convenient to find in stores but tend to not blend well. And because liquid when mixed with sweat it can run and you will always have a line of demarcation unless you put some on the neck area. The new rage and breakthrough in makeup that can help solve your problem would be Bare minerals. Its a light mineral makeup that is also creamy and not dry feeling. It blends well into the skin, no line of demarcation, there's a variety of colors so its guaranteed to have a shade for pretty much every one and it has spf. While wearing it also improves your skin and is rated number 1. So try and I hope this helped.
It sounds to me like your using the wrong color or a bad brand of foundation.

Try using Covergirl True Blend. It matches your skin tone perfectly and gives a good amount of coverage but I recommend using concealer on areas you need full coverage (dark circles, pimples, etc).
    ';Making your mark in life is all about the choices you make. The right color can change everything. The right attitude can open any door.';

    Here is my beauty secret:

Wedge Sponges! They work great, and for a natural, beautiful look, wet the sponge with water or Mac's Fix +. It works amazing-ly!
    you probably just bought a sucky foundation that gets darker with moisture. if you really like that formula then buy it in a shade lighter or try the mixing it with sunscreen trick. i've tried that one- it does make it lighter but i didnt like the coconut smell on my face =)';
get your undertone figured out by a makeup person from the mall. and ask what color shade you have. * i just use the color of the underside of my arm and it works. match up your under forearm and the shade of your foundation*

the trick is to get GOOD fondation. like trumatch from walmart.
try bare escentuals loose mineral powder foundation. it has GREAT coverage, and it feels like you're not wearing anything. so light!
you're using cheap foundation. Once on your skin the pigments start to oxidize, that's why the colour changes.

Try going to an upscale department store and having the makeup counter lady choose the colour for you.
You don't have the right shade, it is too dark. Find the right shade and it won't make you look orange.
    use mineral foundation

that is what i have and it works really good. What is the best drugstore foundation for natural but full coverage?
you should try n.y.c. liquid makeup its oil free(good for breakout-prone skin), and its inexpensive(its only 3 or 4$!!), and you can buy it at any drugstore
try neutregena (or however you spell it) or rimmell.

cg and loreal have a good shade range, but they test on animals.
    maybelline Dream Matte Mouse
covergirl is the best ( =
maybelline pure stay the one with 50% water
I like cover girl tinted moisturizer, it has an spf as well
covergirl all the way. think americas next top model!!!
trublend powder. its less heavy then a liquid foundation but it gives you full coverage. it also doesnt clog your pores as much as a liquid, so you wont get acne. its the one penelope cruz advertises.
    bare minerals
Physician's Formula mineral powder foundation- it is about $10 and worth a million. I am fair skinned as well with blotchy red skin and it covers flawlessly.

What's the best natural looking foundation?

I need it to be really natural lookng and pretty. It's for my school play we have to wear foundation and I don't know what one to get. So it has to look really natural because I'll be onstage under a brand new, bright spotlight. My skin is really pale and I have constant breakouts and my acne stuff makes my face dry.... So I'll need something that is moisterizing but oil free so it won't clog my pores.

Thanks so much for all your answers!!What's the best natural looking foundation?
um i use MAC. its a bit expensive but its grrreeaaatt.

I got it in light 3

    natural ivory

its about 4 inches tall..blue tube..silver cap on the bottom

    I love it

    I got it at walgreens
try asking someone from avon or find a good moisturizer that makes you look good
Well, I tried out almay and WOW! it was sooo good! there is one, that kinda looks whiteish and then you smudge it into your skin and it changes into your colour of skin, but u have to make sure u get the right shade...
    avon works great

u could use the fair conplexion or the one that doesnt really have a color, but covers up all ur zits and stuff

i 4got what the word is that means no color...but u get what i mean?

    break a leg!
Superfit foundation by Clinique. It's a department store brand, but It's very affordable.
Bare Minerals it is amazing you cant feel it and it blends and looks natural, and hides red spots. It Rocks
I just got a loose powder by Physicians Formula and it is AMAZING!

It's called Mineral Wear Talc-Free Illuminating veil.

    Mine is in Nude Glow.

If you have pale skin, you should get it in Translucent.

    It was $11.99 at Walgreens.

It's probably cheaper at Target or Walmart.

I put it on when I first got it and showed my mom.

She said it looked natural which is how I wanted it to look.

She also said my skin looked flawless.

    And I'm very acne-prone.

    I agreed.

It DID make my skin look flawless.

    I love it so much!

Every girl should have this powder/foundation!

    xoxo

My skin in very similar to yours, and I totally understand - I've been doing makeup for productions for awhile, so I understand your dilemma.

Let's start from the beginning; I don't know what you're cleansing your face with, but it sounds a little harsh. I would recommend that you invest in a quality soap like the classic Clinique face wash bar. It doesn't dry, but removes oil and dead skin. Make sure you're washing your face once in the morning and once in the evening.

Also exfoliating every 3 to 4 days with a ';rougher'; scrub will help.

You also need to moisturize at least once a day - I recommend Cetaphil moisturizer, available at Wal*Mart. It dries quickly, but gives you just enough moisture without feeling oily.

A great natural looking foundation, not only for your production but for everyday is Neutrogena's Glow Sheers - available at Wal*Mart - they look incredibly natural and won't be too oily. Just go area by area of your face with a sponge and gently press it into your skin.

You need a light, translucent powder like Artistry's powder containers - they have a great light shade that will look great on your fair skin.

Hope this helps you and have a great time with your play!
Personally, I love max factor make up (the mousse foundation)...I have really pale skin too and they do stuff light enough...sometimes a lot of make up is too orange! It's a lovely light foundation.
get true match the powder it works really good ! you cant even tell its on ! or trublend works pretty good ! but be sure to get the color of your skin !
i would use bare minerals because it covers up, but it doesn't clog your pores or become cakey and thick on your face.
Bare minerals for sure. the mac makeup loox like stage makeup!
Covergirl Clean Makeup - its coverup that looks very natural, smells great and makes your skin feel really clean and smooth. I love it!
    Bare minerals.

    Enough said.

It is the best makeup on earth.

    Bare Minerals is pretty good.
You have a few options here.

First off, for a truly flawless finish, start with a primer. I really like Laura Mericer's. It's also got a moisturizer in it, so that's a plus:

    http://www.sephora.com/browse/product.jh鈥?/a>

If you want to go higher-end, I'd recommend Makeup Forever's HD foundation, available at Sephora.com. The makeup was actually formulated for entertainment, eg, photos, video, etc so that it's nearly undetectable. This retails for about $40.

    http://www.sephora.com/browse/product.jh鈥?/a>

Smashbox has their own version as well. But I can't stand behind it 100%, as I haven't used it.

    http://www.sephora.com/browse/product.jh鈥?/a>

On the lower end, you can try Revon's Colorstay. They come in formulas for oily or dry skin. This is great stuff and it literally covers all day. It runs about $11 and is available in CVS, Target, Wal-Mart, Rite Aid, etc.

    http://revlon.com/ProductCatalog/Product鈥?/a>

On another note, you may want to try a foundation brush for application. It's really the best for flawless coverage. Sephora has their own brand of these, and you can use them just as well on the Revlon as the Makeup Forever.

They actually have a sale on them:

    http://sephora.com/browse/product.jhtml?鈥?/a>

If you want to go with a powder to set it, Makeup Forever has a powder that goes with the HD makeup.

Bare Minerals is very natural looking and works so well! It's a little pricey at about $60 for a start-up kit (includes 2 shades of foundation, bronzer, mineral veil, 3 brushes and a instruction dvd)- but definitely worth it.

their foundation is very light and they have a variety of shades
Bare Minerals all the way! Its very natural looking but it will cover all your flaws!

    Good Luck Hun!
It depends on your skin color.

Some companies do light colors well, but their tan colors are too orange and vice versa.

Go to the make-up counter in a good department store. Look at the clerks. Choose the clerk with the best looking make-up and you have a good chance of getting something you will like.

Splurge! One 50.00 bottle with last longer and look better than buying a new 7.99 bottle at the drugs tore every 8 weeks because it just isn't good enough.
    bare minerals!
I think Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse is really good; it isn't too oily and it covers spots quite well. I'd use some kind of oil-balancing moisturiser underneath it as well, maybe one that fights spots. Good luck with your play =)
    Bare Minerals definatelyyy!!
My mom and I use Bare minerals. It really works! It's amazing!

What is the best natural foundation youve used?

    Bare Minerals loose powder, definitely.

It stays on alot longer than any other foundation I've ever used and calls for alot less touch ups.

You can't tell you have it on and you'll be very thankful later, when your face isn't oily as a frying pan :/

The only complaint I have is cost, but if you're willing to pay for good coverage, it's definitely worth it.

The link with better information is below. What is the best natural foundation youve used?
I would have to say the liquid Mineral skinfinish natural foundation from MAC cosmetics. It is super natural, doesn't look like you have foundation on, but give you a coverage that lasts.

I work for MAC, and I prefer this over all of our other foundations. Don't knock it till you try it though, it is good for ALL skin types and I would recommend going to your nearest MAC and asking for a sample. That is the best way to find a foundation that works best for you. What is the best natural foundation youve used?
i like flawless finish mousse makeup by elizabeth arden. it is the best foundation i have tried and it is perfect for all skin types- i have very sensitive skin and it works perfectly for me as well as giving even coverage and a natural finish so much that i can wear it for school
well if you go to the body shop they have very nice foundation, any thing will look natural if you use the right colour for you skin. Also don't always use foundation use concealer, but not lots and lots of it.
Reinforced concrete is the perfect material for foundations. It will support large buildings with ease.

What is the best natural looking foundation?

when ever i go to school, my foundation always smears off around my nose and cheeks. my skin at the end of the day looks oily and pink and my pores are so big.

i want a foundation that looks natural and lasts. also, if i got a primer and would that help with this problem. What is the best natural looking foundation?
As AGG DOLL said, primers help. You can try the ones she suggested or try something like Avon magic face protector. Get some blotting papers. i never leave home without. What is the best natural looking foundation?
Primers do help. I use a brand called Model's Prefer with a Mary Kay powder to set the foundation. It stays on all day and I never have the pink skin problem (cuz Im white and I do have acne). Mineral powders tend to stay on the best and keep from the oily skin problem.

  • Revlon beyond natural foundation - does it work?

recentley ive notcied a lot of adverts about this foundation. i think it looks awesome but am dubious about it because im not sure if it does exactly what it says on the tin.

if anyone has tried it can you please give me some information about it? if its not great can you recomend a foundation that looks really natural?Revlon beyond natural foundation - does it work?
Is that the one that is white and it blends to match your skin? I've tried it, it worked well, it matched perfectly. But I answered another question about it a while ago and most people said it didn't work... So, I guess it all depends on your skin, lol.

One I've tried that looks really natural is by Maybelline, I think it's called Pure makeup or something like that, it's in a light greenish bluish bottle with a silver cap. It's 50% water or something like that. I like that one a lot.

What is the most natural looking foundation?

I only really need it to cover redness and even out skin tone. I have dry skin and I guess that is the reason cover girl powder foundation looks chalky on me. But None of the drugstore brands ever really worked for me. I don't really like Bare Minerals. In my opinion the only reason it looks natural is because it barley makes a difference. I am thinking about Mac cuz I use that a few years ago.Should I get studio fix, moisture blend, or studio tech? What is the most natural looking foundation?
For that dry skin use cream.

For your foundation the one I use and it matches your skin tone is cover girl trublend and it works like magic, no lie

I use it all the time and it get rid of redness and matches everyone skin tone..What is the most natural looking foundation?
    BB creams! :)

The BB Cream, aka Blemish Balm, is the hottest beauty product in Asia right now. It has the advantages of both a makeup and skincare product. It can even out skintone, camouflage undereye circles, acne scars and add radiance to the skin without the heavy mask-like effects of a foundation.

    http://lavidafashionistas.blogspot.com/

    Try clinique

Yeah but Rimmel's New Lasting Finish Minerals Foundation is just as good and it cheaper! Is the new Max Factor Natural Minerals foundation good?
I haven't tried it, but I would suggest Almay foundation. I use their Clear Complexion line and it lasts all day and covers great! Here are all of the Almay foundations so you can pick the one that works best for you:

    http://www.almay.com/pg/main/catsub.aspx鈥?/a>

They have Line Smoothing foundation, Pure Blends, Clear Complexion, Smart Shade, etc., so I'm sure you'll find something you like!

    It's definetly worth the price.

    Good luck!
Bare Minerals is alot better all the mineral make ups came from there

I think I'm going to try it too - I need a new one and don't want to break out.....all of the 'long lasting' liquid foundations tend to make me break out.

I've used Almay clear complexion makeup for yeaaaaars. I have good skin, because i use differin gel. I do have sensitive skin. my nan got me this lovely one from benefit and you only get 2 different shades (a light and a dark one) the foundation actually matches your skin tone it will blend in with it and its a great cover up and feels lovely and light on your skin and after you have put it on it leaves your skin with a soft silky touch its lovely i would recommend it to anyone hope i helped x

I have fair skin and usually just wear mascara and gloss. What's the most natural looking foundation?

I want to add some blush and I cannot stand the over made up look!I have fair skin and usually just wear mascara and gloss. What's the most natural looking foundation?
Get some mineral makeup. L'Oreal is good and so is Avon. There's no need to buy those high-dollar ones because they're all pretty much the same.I have fair skin and usually just wear mascara and gloss. What's the most natural looking foundation?
Bare minerals is a good powder foundation. When you sign up for it you also get really nice brushes. A concealer brush, light coverage and a buki brush for more coverage. Make sure to check out the color though b/c if you say you have light skin they'll start you out with ';light'; which was too dark for me and I had to switch to ';Fair';. Just depending on how fair you are :D Neutragena is a good alternative though the brush is not the same. You only get one option for coverage.
heres a cheap foundation that goes on very light.Personally I like foundations that come in a compact as opposed to a bottle. This got great reviews so you should read those too

    http://shop.avon.com/shop/product.aspx?p鈥?/a>

Another alternative is this mineral makeup but the downside is you gotta buy a brush if you dont have one already

    http://shop.avon.com/shop/product.aspx?p鈥?/a>
If you just want to add blush.. just wear blush. You don't have to wear foundation for that.

Other than that, try a mineral makeup. There's lots of brands out there.
dont wear foundation it just makes ur skin unhealty try some peachy or apricot blush it loooks Realllly GOOD! some mascara and eyeliner and there ya go.
you dont have to wear foundation but I use Bare Minerals it is kinda expensive but it does not look or feel like you have makeup on!

Can anyone reccomend a good natural looking foundation?

I have been using mineral makeup but found it doesnt give me enough coverage. I am wanting something thats not to heavy, natural looking and also will not dry out my skin.

Has anyone used a good one that would be suitable?

thanks =)Can anyone reccomend a good natural looking foundation?
Chanel Teint Innocence is great...it looks like your skin but better. It has good coverage also, and stays on all day. I think it's an spf 12 or 15. Very very natural and healthy looking, but also pretty expensive $45.00 and ounce. But so worth it!!!

There's a review of it on my blog if you want more info:

    http://musingsofamakeupjunkie.blogspot.c鈥?/a>

There's also before and after pictures of me wearing it if that'll help. Can anyone reccomend a good natural looking foundation?
okay well i just bought belle pierre mineral makeup and itlooks totally natural but you said you dont want mineral makeup

the makeup i used before the mineral makeup was my estee lauder compact. i absolutely loved it!

it covers everthing on your face and it doesnt look like your wearing much makeup. the only reason why i switched is because i wanted to try out mineral makeup cuz i dont need much coverage... im only 15

so definately try estee lauder you can get it at dillards!
Try Bourjois, Bobbi Brown, Make-up Forever .

Make-up forever has the most natural coverage .

Bobbi Brown looks natural but allows buildable coverage if you need more .

Bourjois has a coverage that is comparable to expensive brands that is sutiable for those on a budget.

The decision is still yours to make. Try them out and have fun !
Perscriptives has a sheer cover, it light's and doesn't feel like you are wearing cake. But just like the mineral foundation you may have to use some coverup on spots that need alittle help. Try using the perscriptives concealer under your foundation you might like the results. Try it next time your at the mall.
Hi, I'm a makeup artist at Sephora and would be happy to address your concern. I use Laura Mercier. She is known for her ';flawless face'; line. There are 4 simple steps to achieve this look.

Step 1: Use Foundation Primer to smooth and prep the skin.

Step 2: Apply foundation. Choose the formula you like based on your skin type and the coverage that you want. To cover imperfections, I recommend a liquid foundation because it covers more. I would only wear this when I have many blemishes. On a daily basis I would wear a powder foundation.

Step 3: Apply concealer. Again, choose the formula you like based on your skin type and the coverage that you want.

Step 4: Use Loose Setting Powder. This will make the makeup last longer and adds a nice glow to your face.

    Here's a link:

I know you only wanted suggestions for a tfoundation, but being so satisfied with my use of Laura Mercier and her products, I had to share my product knowledge with you so you can at least know about it. It would be wonderful if you tried it! =)

I hope this helped! Feel free to come in for a free consultation. Also, don't be afraid to ask for samples, everyone does. Good luck! =)
It's called Make Up For Ever. You can get it at Sephora. I was using a Lancome product and went to a makeup artist who gave me a lesson. She said that was way too heavy for someone my age (I'm 26) and that I should use something much lighter. So she suggested that and I've noticed a great improvement. I even look better in pictures now. Give it a try.
Use the Stick Foundation from Bee Luscious. It is still a mineral foundation but in a stick for better fuller coverage. Yet it is still very light and airy feeling on you skin. It is the perfect full coverage foundation you will find. Search Google for Bee Luscious.
Diorskin Forever Flawless liquid foundation with SPF. Full coverage but not a mask. A little goes a long way, so a 1oz bottle lasts a long time... it doesn't dry out my skin like MAC does..

The price might put you off.. $45 here in Canada, about 15 bucks more than MAC.

    Up to youuu haha
have you tried Sheer Cover mineral makeup, it has more coverage than other mineral foundations. it's really good. sheercover.com

  • Is there a natural looking foundation that also provides good coverage?

i have no price range preferences. my skin is sometimes blotchy and prone to redness. Is there a natural looking foundation that also provides good coverage?
I have Maybelline's Dream Liquid foundation and it works great! It covers up my blotchyness and makes my skin looked airbrushed. The only thing I don't like about it is that I have to wear a good primer in order for it to last 12 hours.

If you're looking for a mineral foundation, go for Everyday Minerals instead of Bare Minerals. BM has bismuth in it which irritates the skin, especially the redness you've been experiencing. If you do choose EM do you want to order a sample kit because they have so many different formulas and color choices that you don't want to waste your money with the wrong thing. You can get a free sample kit for around $3 shipping, which gives you 3 foundations, 1 blush, and 1 concealor. Everyday Minerals is pretty inexpensive too, especially for the quality! Is there a natural looking foundation that also provides good coverage?
I use BareEscentuals .. Bare Minerals foundation.

It's AMAZING. Before I used MAC, and it was heavy.. cakey looking.

I have redness too, mostly around my jawbone, and I'm really self-concious about it.

But I just got this foundation, and it's great!

It's a little messy being loose powder, and you need to make sure to MOISTURIZE before wearing it.

Plus if you have dry skin, it can maximize that...

But to cover redness and blotchy and look really really natural, definitely worth it.

It sells at Sephora for 30$ i think.
i have red cheeks as well, and freckles.:(

hmm, what I DO personally is get liquid foundation(neutrogena and it has salictic acid in it too prevent breakout) and i put it over the red area of my skin(or freckles),i then take BARE MINERAL makeup, and spread it all over my face(very natural looking) finally i take a bronzer and put it lightly around my red areas,so it just looks like i put bronzer on,this combo really helps.
Don't use Bare Minerals it contains Bismuth which is a skin irritant. Try Everyday Minerals instead. You can order a free sample kit. Which has your choice of 3 foundations, 1 blush, and 1 concealer. All you have to pay is about $3 for shipping. It lasts a longggg time. I've had mine for 3 months and i'm still on my first jar of foundation. I use it everyday.

I want to buy Revlon Beyond Natural Foundation should I or should I not?

I'm asian and I have pale fair skin.I want to buy Revlon Beyond Natural Foundation should I or should I not?
Hi! Often, people buy products in stores that cannot be matched to your skin. I would suggest that you go to a department store and have your skin color matched, If, when you try the product at home, and it does not work well with your skin, you can exchange it. Also, there are many formulations, depending on what you are looking for, including pore minimizers, tinted moisturizers, etc. Again, you have the opportunity, by going to a cosmetic counter, of expressing your wants/needs to the cosmetic associate who can lead you to the right product. You can try it in the store to see if you think it gives you the look you want,I want to buy Revlon Beyond Natural Foundation should I or should I not?
Revlon makes great makeup, and they stand behind their products. I suggest you try it! Walgreens and RiteAid both have deals this week buy one, get one free. Both places also will allow you to try the makeup and if you don't like it for ANY reason, you can return it. Just keep your receipt and the packaging it came in. If you shop elsewhere and don't like it, contact them via their website or toll free number. They will give you back your money.
yeah sounds goos revlon is a good makeup company

I like GOSH foundation, its a little pricey, but its really nice and stays on your face the whole day, you can get it at Superdrug
Try the kind that blends with your own skin color, Revlon is what I use. Mineral powder is good also.
    i use mary kay.

test it first before buying. try to rub a small amount at the back of your palm, thenlet it stay for awhile. if it blends w/ the color of your skin, then that foundation fits for you.
Max Factor natural minerals foundation is amazing because it is a powder that works as an all over coverage. You don't need to apply any face powder over the top of it and it looks flawless and natural. It's excellent for those that don't want to look too fake and if you are younger it's perfect! There are other brands such as Loreal that do foundations like this but Max Factor has to be my favorite. Good luck (:

How do I achieve natural looking foundation?

I have very oily skin and I want to know what to do to make my foundation look less cakey and more glowy/natural.How do I achieve natural looking foundation?
Use a foundation primer, use a good foundation which is applied with a foundation brush - set with powder.

    Here are some products that have had good reviews;

    PRIMERS

Evens out skin tone and enables foundation to sit on top of the skin rather than melting into expression lines and accentuating exactly what we're trying to disguise.

    Rimmel Makeup Primer

Sephora Skin Smoothing Makeup Base (said to really make a difference)

    Smashbox Photofinish Foundation Primer

    FOUNDATIONS

Here are a few that claim to give a luminous look and have had good reviews. Remember to use a primer and apply with a foundation brush for a flawless finish.

    Bobbi Brown Luminous Moisturising

    Revlon Colourstay

    Rimmel Lasting Finish

    Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse

Max Factor Miracle Touch Foundation (Won the Times Beauty Award 2008)

    Clarins True Radiance

try powder foundation then translucent powder. but to be sure, try going to a department store and ask a makeup speacilist there and they can point you in the right direction

edit: i just watched a what not to wear episode and when they did the makeup the person said for oily skin use a mattifying gel before you put on makeup
try using a brush to apply your foundation. then put a light coat of powder over it to keep from getting oily.

neutrogena's shine removing oil blotting sheets are great- they help control shine and are easy to carry around in your purse
Go to macys or a department store

What is the best natural looking foundation and also the best liquid eyeliner?

    Thanks!

I use nivea young tinted moisturiser at the moment and it is quite good, I also use avon perfect match foundation and natural collections pressed powder. Just wanted any reccommendations?

Also I like to wear eyeliner but I constantly have to re apply it throughout the school day so I was wanting to try a liquid eyeliner for around the top of my eye? Which brand is best in your opinion? Thank youuu x x xWhat is the best natural looking foundation and also the best liquid eyeliner?
The most natural foundation i have found is Smoky Mountain Minerals mineral makeup. You can find them at www.SmokyMountainMinerals.com . They don't use the bismuth oxychloride like bare escentuals, so they don't make you itch or turn red. I love it. Looks natural! You might want to try their eyeliner, too. just apply it with a liner brush or a chiseled liner brush. it stays on all day! You can mix it with their Eye Fixative, too, to make a gel kind of liner and eye color. What is the best natural looking foundation and also the best liquid eyeliner?
my favourite liquid eyeliners are majolica majorca neo automatic eyeliner and revlon color stay liquid eyeliner. if you like thick lines, i think gel/cream eyeliners are really handy too (they have them at like kate, mac, bobbi brown, everywhere) it is abit expensive but they last really long and there is more than enough amount in one pot. but these are mainly for thick eyeliners. theyr like between pencil and liquid, but they realy dont smudge!!

as for foundation i like mac. they have variety of colors and i like how they stay for a long time. its abit thick thou. i also like revlon.
I like using Bobbi Brown for foundation, most people don't realize I'm wearing it and compliment me on my great-looking ';skin';.

For liquid eyeliner, I used to use the Body Shop's penliner, iot stays on pretty well. I also recently started using Mac's Fluidline. That stuff stays on!
H.I.P cream liner is really good. lasts all day and very good color payoff. Its kinda hard to find I was looking for it at kmart but didn't find it. So I went to CVS.

also I hear Maybelline mineral Power foundation is good. I bought the concealer today
I LOVE the Hollywood mineral foundation from LA Minerals. Looks and feels natural and stays on all day. I swim in it and it stays!
For Powder and Foundation I use Mary Kay makeup. For lipstick.Meh I go to wal-mart or something and see what they have.

It depends on your age.....but I use CoverGirl Advanced Radiance...BUT I am 53 with combination skin...oily in T-zone. But this makeup is so creamy...it blends in so well and makes your skin look so smooth. It's not thick or gooky...very natural and it takes very little. It's on sale sometimes buy one/get one free. It is around

$11 to $12 . My face used to get little breakouts, even at 53 but since I started using it...I haven't had any. It has Oil of Olay in it too. Very good for older skin
Go for American Beauty . you can buy it at Kohls for $12.50

i have heard excellent reviews about it.......How much is Revlon Beyond Natural Foundation?
It is about $9, but they test on animals and you should buy something that doesn't. Hard Candy is not that expensive, it is made by Urban Decay, it is a good brand and they don't test on animals.
    I believe it is $6.99

hey...i really, desperately need foundation that can cover up pimples real quick an looks natural. i want something kinda like how Lindsey Lohan was wearing in mean girls. i use maybeline dream matt mouse. it works well, but you can tell i have it on. i need something you CANT tell i have on. or maybe you can tell, but it looks awfully natural. and i need something that doesnto make my face look powdery. price isnt really an issue but it has to be under $35What is a really good and NATURAL foundation?
Try Bare Escentuals powder foundation. It is a super light loose powder that you brush on all over your face, and you layer on however much you want for more or less coverage. It is very natural looking and won't clog your pores.

If you have more money--you can try using something like Prescriptives Traceless first, and layer the Bare Escentuals powder over it. Prescriptives Traceless is a light reflecting tinted lotion that reduces redness and makes you look glowing--it is not a foundation though--it doesn't offer a lot of coverage, which is why you'll still want some powder over it.

If you don't want to buy it without trying it--go to Sephora (Makeup store) and try it out there. What is a really good and NATURAL foundation?
try ';bare minerals'; It really will make your skin glow and it cover up pimples in an instant and its totally all natural!
Sheer Cover. On the infomercial its 30 bucks. I loooove this stuff. It has a concealer which is key and hides everything, then the powder which blends perfect. You can not tell its on at all.
I wear bare minerals, and if you don't put tons on, it looks really natural, like you're wearing nothing, but covers really nicely, so you don't look ';make up'; free. if that makes sense.
    Bare Minerals

sorry to tell you but if u r trying to cover up pimples, nothing will look natural unless u go to a good make up artist that put a whole load of make up on you but chances are that wouldn't look natural ( but it hide the pimples %26amp; marks ) or you can alway go to a decent make up counter in department store and ask them to match you to a natural looking foundation ( you would have to make a purchase %26amp; the average cost of foundation is $35 ) .....
Using foundation to cover up your pimples only makes them worse. Instead, use a tinted moisturizer.
Try the Liquid Mineral Foundation by Bee-Luscious Cosmetics (you will have to search for it on-line, I would give the web-site but I don't want to get banned from YA). It is awesome. Great coverage, looks natural and you can't even tell you have it on. It feels really light on your skin. Good Luck!

How well is the Revlon Beyond Natural Foundation? and the Cost?

anyone who has it or whose tried it, how well is it on convering your blemishes AND looking natural or the 'not alot of makeup' look

because i dont like thick coverups or foundations, it feel like a layer of gunky skin on my face

are there any other alternatives to this product? How well is the Revlon Beyond Natural Foundation? and the Cost?
I am a big fan of Revlon's Beyond Natural Foundation:

I have a lot of red marks and some acne, and I use this product. The thing is, it is sort of a tinted moisturizer; it does not cover blemishes completely. It evens my complexion, and covers some red marks. But that is not what matters; it looks natural. I have always had a hard time with color in foundation, and this actually seems to match my skin pretty well. It is liquidy, but not too oily. I apply moisturizer before (a must for my dry skin), the foundation, blush, and then set it with powder.

Price wise, it is expensive especially for a drug-store brand. But I always get it when Rite-Aid, Walgreens, or CVS has a buy one get one free deal. I save a lot of money, making them 6 dollars each. (12 dollars originally)

I really recommend it for you!

Alternatives are the Almay brand of skin-matching foundation, though I hear this is better. How well is the Revlon Beyond Natural Foundation? and the Cost?
Its REALLY good. And its true when they say ';Natural'; because it makes me look as if I'm wearing no foundation but its enough to make my skin smooth and looking healthy.

It defiantly hides blemishes and it feels as if you're wearing nothing.

    Its really worth the buy.

In Australia its $29.95, in America I'm sure its cheaper.
I use it and love it , i paid around $20 for mine.

  • Did the new Revlon Beyond Natural foundation match your skin tone?

which is supposed to come out white at first %26amp; then when you massage it in, it turns into your exact skin tone.

I heard that it didn't match people's skin tones %26amp; didn't do what it says.

Has anyone had this experience becuase I am thinking about buying it.

Thank you everyone in advance.Did the new Revlon Beyond Natural foundation match your skin tone?
    Not really.

When it dried it left me with orange streaks at my jaw (i was blending well)- and i bought 'Light.'

I've used it twice and regret the buy. When it comes to revlon i stick with the colorstay products.Did the new Revlon Beyond Natural foundation match your skin tone?
actually it worked fairly well for me. i have olive skin and that is definately the HARDEST to match with drugstore foundtions! So I bought the medium shade in the summer and the lht/med in the winter and applied with fingers. I have uneven/oily skin and still applied smoothly :) Report Abuse

I bought it in the lightest shade and I have light olive skin, my flatmate used it as well and it was fine for her too she has very pale ivory skin. It's not magical at skin matching, it's just very sheer and blendable so it would suit a lot of skin tones because it's not high coverage. If you need a full coverage foundation this would not be suitable, it's more of a tinted moisturiser like consistency (although it's not moisturising!) I know a few black and mixed race women who like the darkest shade and think it's excellent, and quite pale people suit the fairest one which I have but the middle shades tend to be where it doesn't match anyone.
I haven't actually bought the product, but I tried in in boots. I'm naturally pale, so I tried the lightest shade which was way to dark for me. It did not blend at all. I was surprised as i'm not so pale that I can't get foundation. The majority of foundations cater well for my skin tone, so I think I would blame the product this time rather than my skin tone. I was suggest L'oreal true match, or MAX Factor's mineral foundation. As both of these are mineral foundations they are far better for your skin than liquid foundation :)
I tried it and I wasn't a fan. It takes a LOT to blend so it gets to your skin tone and it still stayed really grey on me for a while. Plus there are definitely some red undertones to it that my skin doesn't like. To me, it's not really worth the money because I don't even know if I can blend it with another foundation to get the perfect shade. Not really worth it. Good luck!
It matched my skin... Almay has one like that too, that starts white and then changes to your color, and that one works too... Maybe I just have weird skin, seeing as how it didn't work for anybody else... Lol.
I don't even bother with trying it because no company makes foundation match my skin tone.
havnt tried it sorry but im interested in answers x
    No it doesnt

Have any black girls out there tried Revlon Beyond Natural foundation in dark?

This foundation is like a tinted moisturizer and is supposed to match to your skin tone and look natural. I am brown skinned and have it in dark. I am not too satisfied with it and was wondering if anyone else with my skintone had used it with similar results. It makes my skin look greyish. What about other deep pigmented girls, black or other wise?Have any black girls out there tried Revlon Beyond Natural foundation in dark?
No, but I've tried Loreal True Blend and I'm pretty happy with that.

How good is the revlon beyond natural foundation?

    Does it have good coverage?

I have very blotchy skin so i need something that covers up flaws!

    Is it long lasting?

And does it feel heavy in the skin?

What do you think of it overall? How good is the revlon beyond natural foundation?
It has light coverage. The formula is kind of watery and blends ok. It also doesn't last as long. I noticed mine became extremely dark after only a few weeks of using it and I had to throw it away. For more full coverage try Revlon Colorstay Foundation. It works wonders!

What do you think of Revlon Beyond Natural Foundation and Primer?

Personally, I love them. But I just started using them. What was your experience with them? What do you think of Revlon Beyond Natural Foundation and Primer?
I haven't tried the primer yet (is it any good, by the way?), but I do love the foundation. It's great for an everyday look, and it works so much better than I expected it to when I first bought it. Revlon is by far my favorite drugstore brand -- the quality of their products is amazing. :)What do you think of Revlon Beyond Natural Foundation and Primer?
I love it!!! This is the only product(s) that match my skin tone completely!
the primer makes me feel oily, but the foundation is surperior!!!

I really like Stila's Illumintating tinted moisturizer. And for the redness, just get a good light liquid concealer, clinique has a good one. Just put the concealer in the areas you really need it. Make sure to blend really well and you will look like you have naturally flawless skin, not like you are wearing makeup! What is the best light natural foundation?
I use the greenish mineral concealer from LA Mineral to cover redness. Works great! Green is opposite red on the color wheel, so it negates it.

For a nice glowy look, I use NoHoGlo mineral foundation. It give your skin a nice glow, light coverage.

you can get samples for like $1-$2 on their website and they ship em free:)

If you try the concealer, be careful to just use a little and apply with a brush. Then put foundation over it.

Girl if you have clear skin you dont need foundation. I suggest using mineral make-up. If you begin to use foundation..... that can clog your pores and make you break out as it has weird chemicals in their products.

MAC Studio Fix Powder has worked well for me. Can be a little over $20 but can last you a while and has great coverage. Never made me breakout :) thankfully.
My suggestion is try Mary Kay! I am a licensed Cosmetologist, and this is my choice.

When the sun shines on my face my foundation looks like powder and cakey why?

Sounds like you are putting too much on. Even a more expensive brand will look cakey if overapplied. When the sun shines on my face my foundation looks like powder and cakey why?
depends on if its the right make up for your face!

sometimes this happens because your face is dry and your using a powdery finish and need more of a luid texture to blend in the feel of your skin.

also, this may happen because your using the wrong color for your skin, go to a make up counter that you are interested in using (try M.A.C studio tech foundation- the colors match 100% of people and you will LOVE the feel!) and ask them to match you- they will be happy to! and give you advice..

You are applying it too heavily. Switch to something light such as Bare Escentuals (same as Bare Minerals). You can buy the Get Started Kit for $29.99. Here is the link:

I recommend it for all skin types and colors. It is light and airy and lets your pores breathe but gives excellent coverage.

You can buy a USA Designer bag to show off your new look. You can find it at this link:
The question is, Do You Moisturize? What brand are you wearing? What is the texture of the Make up (liquid, cream, powder base)? Are you setting the foundation with a powder? There are many reasons as to why you foundation does that. Answers these questions for me and and i can give you a proper answer. I am a make up artist ready to help you!
the chemicals in the make-up. Depends on what brand you use. I use bare minerals. This makes your skin look like you don't even have make-up on. If you don't want that cakey look...use bare minerals. www.bareminerals.com
It depends on the brand you use. Like the other girl said, bare minerals looks best. It gives you this really healthy looking glow and it looks completely natural; you can't even tell you have make up on!

I used to want this look too but when I went to sephora the beauty consultants there explained to me that a shiny foundation would be ridiculous. so they told me to get this stuff by benefit called ';high beam'; it works great! I get an amazing, fresh dewy look just buy highlighting with that stuff. I run a line down my nose up my cheekbones, middle of my chin, and a little in the center of my forehead then I blend it out really well!

    Foundation that gives a shine a NO,NO?

i like the shiny look that foundation gives, does it have to be matt looking to look professional? i always hear 'powder to take away the shine'... why would anyone want to take away the shine?Foundation that gives a shine a NO,NO?
I think it depends on the finishing you want. Ive worked along make up artists at fashion shows and they always say that the best foundation is the one that gives you a healthy glow. If you see all runway pictures the models have just a little shine and it looks like the skin is hydrated and healthy rather than dry or oily. Now theres products that have shiny pigments so tiny that you cant see them and just give you a little shimmer. Id say go for the healthy glow look and look for a product that gives you the right amount of shine and always put it with your face clean.

for all things fashion check this

    http://chickensoupforthefashionistasoul.鈥?/a>Foundation that gives a shine a NO,NO?
Foundation that makes your face shine just looks funny. If you're a person with oily skin already, and you use a foundation which on top adds shine, you're going to look like you have a greasy face and make you appear like you're sweating all the time. Plus, it also makes it really obvious that you're wearing foundation which in reality, most of us don't want.

Powder also sets your foundation. It helps it stay for longer periods, therefore you need less touchups throughout the day.

The word you're looking for is glow. A subtle foundation that can give a sheer glow yet manages to stay matte looks more professional and not to mention more natural.
it doesn't have to be matte, there are foundation that purposely give your skin a little ';shine'; or glow. such as i know stila has a foundation thats suppose to make your skin luminous, or there are also foundation thats meant to make your skin dewy.

but are you talking about a shine? or a glow?

you can create the glow look with highlights, dust some highlighting powder on your temple, cheek, underneath the eye, a little on your forehead, and chin.
The shine that foundation gives off makes your face appear oily or greasy, especially in the most prone spots. (Forehead and nose) You don't want a shine with your foundation. Instead, you may want to use blush to brighten up your face, to give it a natural glow.
Thats funny you say that! I use foundation to hide my shine because it makes me look sweaty all the time!

You don't need to put much on but it will make a big difference!! Also dust power over your face after you have put your foundation on

    Hope this helps

I find that it also depends on what cleanser and moisturiser you use. Try using a mattifying cleanser and moisturiser and your skin may not be so shiny to start with. Then use an oil free foundation. You still might have to use powder during the day to keep the shine off though!
try stay tuned by origins, i love it. also, consider using a powder after you apply the liquid foundation, and also have those oil-blotting sheets handy, they work excellent, and can be bought at cvs or your local drugstore
Well, if you are determined to use just foundation, I would recommend Clinique foundation in the color that suits your skin best.

I donno if from the drugstores are best. But try a primer BEFORE applying foundation. A primer that controls shine and doesn't clog poors. Like ProActiv, they have a shine control lotion that works like OMG.
If you want to get rid of the shine then make sure it's OIL-FREE. You may choose: Neutrogena, Cover Girl, Physicians Formula, Max Factor, and Maybelline. These brands have oil-free foundations.
Id suggest getting a powder foundation, because it would help elimate oils in the skin that make it shiny.

I like the Pure Makeup Powder Foundation by Maybelline.

    hope that helps!
Try puritycosmetics.co.uk. It is made from natural ingredients and makes your skin look great!
Use a compact foundation, like Loreal Feel Natural.
to give shine or get rid of it?

Neutrogena Transleuscent Powder works great over foundation (drugstore buy). It's light and you won't have any shine! Only need to apply twice for the entire day.

Best foundation for oily skin and blemishes? light and wont shine?

I have oily skin and a few blemishes. I want a foundation that covers but is light. I don't want to reapply. I've tried Lancome and Clinique. I had a hard time finding a shade light enough for my skin.Best foundation for oily skin and blemishes? light and wont shine?

Try maybelline. it's light and will definetly not shine. specially for oily skin.
I think Revlon has got skinlights it gives shine and good thing is that it's for oily skin it comes in the powder form and you can use it instead of foundation. Diana of london, Loreal also has got some thing as such and I recommend you to use powdered foundation trather than liquid for your skin type and usually pearl sort of shades would go for very fair complexioned people.
    Bare Esscentials...love it.. www.sephora.com
oil-free moisturizer( or none) and then revlon colorstay. Then maybelline shine free loose powder. Bare minerals won't have the coverage. I use the 'buff' in the colorstay and the ' light ' in the powder.
Wash your face frequently with cold water and use a face pack of grated apple. You can find more cheap, effective and natural home remedies for oily skin at http://www.wellnesstalk.org/oilyskin.htm鈥?/a> .
if you have ever heard of aloette or bare minerals they are all natural and help with blemishes and other things
I'd Suggest maybelline - dream matte mousse

    Its a mousse foundation

But if you dont want your skin to be oily then try putting on Ella Bache Creme Intex No.2 on for a first layer and the foundation on top. or you could use face powder.

Ella bache is an excellent quality brand for beauty, it will get rid of your pimples and blemishes while ur wearing foundation.
true macth from loreal.......... its not cakey
    I would recommend 2 products.

    1. Arbonne's ';Intelligence'; personalizer. It's a plant and mineral based powdery product that goes on BEFORE moisturizer or foundation. It helps control shine all day, and its greeish tint helps even out skin tone.

    2. Arbonne's Mineral Powder foundation. Light and Airy, no mineral oil, petrochemicals, or animal byproducts.

Kinda like Bare Minerals, but better and half the price!

See my profile for order info!
Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse, it stays on all day and doesn't cause shine for the best result put it on with a damp sponge.
You should try a think powder foundation..it's great for oily skin because it does not have the liquid consistancy but it does not feel like a mask

I use one by Clinique and MAC has a good one too

Alsoo, go see a dermatoligist...they can reccomend great products to clear up oily skin
I worked as a print and a runway model for over 10 years and I swear by Cover Girl (the ones in tubes). They always change names, but the make up is pretty much the same. Use loose powder to seal it and you'll get a flawless finish....
I recommend that you use Avon,Aveeno,or Clearisil it's very good for your skin %26amp; for your foundation try prescriptives. (The best I've used!)
